Parasaurolophus - Brought to Life!
🕑 Added 2025-05-27 01:47:04 +0000 UTCParasaurolophus is a genus of herbivorous hadrosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 76 to 66 million years ago. It is best known for its distinctive long, backward-curving cranial crest, which likely functioned in vocalization and species recognition. Measuring up to 10 meters in length, Parasaurolophus had a duck-billed snout and was a facultative biped, capable of walking on both two and four legs. Fossils have primarily been found in what is now North America, particularly in regions that were once part of the ancient western inland sea.

I'll make my first comment as a new Patreon subscriber on my favourite dinosaur. As a palaeoartist myself, I am inspired by your results and would like to learn more about your workflow. For instance, was this created as a 2D image through various photobashing techniques, or was it sculpted and rendered in 3D? Did you create the animation manually, or are you using any AI tools to augment your process? I ask these questions simply out of a desire to better understand your artistic methods and process.
