Timelapse: DEADICATION Deku
🕑 Added 2022-12-30 20:19:28 +0000 UTCThe quality of this has just been mullered, I‘m sorry! But I thought I might share a timelapse of me sketching.
It keeps being put to the side in favour of other projects, but I really want for 2023 to be the year I finished DEADICATION and make good progress on the first volume of a physical copy. Originally I had planned for a full colour illustration complete with background for each chapter, but given we’re going to be ending at 50+ chapters, and I know my own limits a little better, I‘m not sure that’s something I could keep up the momentum and motivation to ever complete.
So, I have devised a new plan in the form of supplementary illustrations - character sheets for each major arc, maps, diagrams and field studies for each of the key zombies! This will feel a lot less tedious for me, and hopefully just as fun for everyone else! To kick things off, I‘m working on the character sheets for part one, starting with the hardest boy to draw… Deku! Seriously, he is the natural opposite of my art style and I always struggle with him…

Honestly I’m just happy that you’re even thinking of doing a physical copy for DEADICATION. I would love to own a physical copy no matter what, the illustrations are a huge added bonus! Seriously one of my favorite stories of all time❤️ amazing job as always
