I think I agree with you on this that's why I can't get on board with Radical Skepticism it just doesn't make any sense.

I don't really see the problem, it seems to me that theoretical virtues are rules of thumb that are usually successful at producing true explanations. The case of being in love with a deceiving psychopath is not very likely in the absence of evidence, so it's probably not true.
