Prompt: write a poem about being funnel fed cake mix.
The cake mix is poured into the funnel
and then it's straight into my mouth.
I love the way it feels, so smooth and sweet,
as it slides down my throat and hits my stomach.
It's like a party in my mouth, every bite
a celebration of sugar and butter and flour.
I savor the flavor and the texture,
the way it melts in my mouth and fills me up.
But eventually I have to stop,
no matter how much I want to keep going.
My stomach is full, and I need to save some room
for dinner. So I reluctantly put the funnel away,
but I know I'll be back for more cake mix soon.
