Setup
Check the attached video in this post for instructions on how to set up the plugin in the PC. The link to the required plugin in the PC is:

This is a well-known plugin that has been used a lot by the trucksim community over the years and it's open source, so it should feel safe to run on your PC.
Release notes & known issues for alpha-1
The connection setup popup has been added from the pre-alpha version shown in the first video
Only the ETS2 base map is supported. If you drive into a DLC road, the map in the phone will look empty in those places :)
Startup time may be slow in older phones. As a reference, it's taking about 4 seconds to start on an iPhone 14, but it takes 20+ seconds in a Google Pixel 3. So, give it up to a minute after you open the app for it to load. Even if you're looking at a blank screen, it's reading all the map files in the background.
The suggested route looks wobbly in some intersections
What's next?
I expect to release version alpha-2 within 2 weeks
I'll focus on adding support for all the DLCs and for American Truck Simulator
A larger map will probably result in an even slower loading time, so it's probably time to optimize this too

Hello! The app will be free for the basic features when it's released. During development, you can join the Early Tester tier to have access to the work-in-progress version.

Hello! While the app is in development, I'll be publishing alpha builds with new features regularly. During this period, patreon backers in the Early Tester tier will get access to all the alpha builds as they are developed. I expect v1.0 to be ready and published before the end of the year, hopefully even sooner. The public version will be free to use for the basic features, like navigation, and will require payment for accessing premium features. The pricing and which features will be included are still to be decided.

Hey, nice work! Great news that this is already in alpha. I would be really curious to try it out, but I would like to first understand your plans about the price/fees. Right now I have to agree to pay 7$ a month to get access to the alpha version. Are you going to keep this subscription model for the future?
