I hope you’re having a marvelous week.
Please don’t panic - it’s not the end of the month haha I knoooow that’s when I usually upload & this is different but I’ve really been trying hard to create/edit/upload content before the clock strikes midnight on the last day of the month.
The past couple months I’ve been trying different things to help with my ADHD/CPTSD & one of them has been starting to paint again and create just for the sake of self expression & creation vs creating for others or for monetary compensation.
It has started shifting some things for my mental health and I wanted to create a little ode to that with this really bare studio background.
It reminds me of my early Patreon days & for those of you who have stuck with me throughout the years you might see the reference as well ;)
I often get stuck in the mammoth process of creating elaborate sets (almost everything you see me shoot is in my home in sets I’ve designed and built myself) and setting that aside momentarily had me be able to create this set before the end of the month.
I hope you’re able to take a moment to think of something - a craft, a hobby, a sport even or another form of self expression that you’ve set aside that used to fill you up - and think of a way you could reconnect with that part of yourself this month.
Maybe just looking that particular thing up on YouTube & watching a video about it, or joining a Facebook group about the topic might spark something for you.
I hope you can find a little more of what lights you up this month.
And as always,
Thank you for being here.
I love you all!
Carina
