Status #2 | Come-back of an old idea
🕑 Added 2017-10-06 13:14:07 +0000 UTCSorry - this will be long but I really had to write my thought down somewhere.
I don't know how many of you who follow me on DeviantArt - can remember an vet old fan fiction comic I tried to do over 4 years ago?
It was about Disney's Cassim(Aladdin's father). Cassim - The Curse of the Wolfe. I still have my pics and the first 8 pages of the sroty on my DA channel.
Back then I didn't have any knowledge how to do comics or write stories. Plus - only tools I had back then was paper and pen. I was younger back then and the idea of this story never got finished and in time...I started hating it. Hating the story, my drawing style...everything. So in the end - the story, the idea, the inspiration...it was all gone and forgotten.
I have kept the pics just as a memory from the past.
But last night...something happened. I had a dream.
It was the story of Cassim but in totally different way. It had my character Abriana that I designed to the story. She was going to be Cassim's new lover. She was just a wealthy merchant's daughter who was cursed. In my old story.
No - not on this dream. She was a real princess and she had magic powers. The idea was something I never even thought about back then. I know that it was just a dream and many things didn't make any sense - but I really had to write the whole dream down as long as it was still in my memory. I was afraid that if I don't - I will never remember it again.
I have a so many things to do right now. I have animation project for this new nursery school, I have commissions, own pics and this fan fiction I'm writing (I've done 5 chapters out of that. Will tell you guys about that someday).
But this - this dream. Gets me thinking...should I start thinking that story once again? Should I actually try to make my own story for Cassim? 'Couse there was something I liked about the dream and that it actually came to me after ALL these years...was really strange.

1001 stories of Arabian Nights - yes you are right~ I didn't even remember that ^^ I'm just not sure is it still my "original" story if I want to use Cassim in it?

Make it your original. Why make it a simple fan fiction when you could take this time to make your own envisioning of the characters and setting? They say there is a different tale for each of the 1001 Arabian Nights~
