New Relationship VS. Skill/Meter
🕑 Added 2020-12-27 21:26:41 +0000 UTCHey everyone! So I'm pretty sure I noticed steam spewing from my ears earlier from all this brain power I have been using to create this particular aspect for Flirty Fetishes' Vol. I: BDSM!
I'm just going to tell you my goal finally. I really can't contain it anymore.
*First of all, let me state again, I am still learning! And with that, I am only assuming what I am wanting to do is achievable. So please, do not hold me to anything. Nothing is set in stone. This Patreon is to show my ideas and progress with those ideas until the actual mod is created.*
Now...here is what I want to do:
I want to create a whole new relationship track. One that only occurs between Sims with the type-D (Dominant type) traits who interact with type-s (submissive type) Sims. This would be called a "Courtship," and just as you have Friendship and Romance bars, you would have one for Courtship. The more this relationship grows, the Type-D Sim will get closer to their goal of being a Master/Mistress as the Type-s Sims will get closer to becoming slaves.
Individual Trait Interactions Grow The Courtship
The relationship will grow when special interactions are used. Such as a Sim with the Brat trait will Misbehave and in turn, a Sim with the Domineering trait will use the special interactions from having the Domineering trait with the Brat Sim's misbehavior.
I want to create a situation where you have, for example: the submissive Sim--in this example, the Brat--who Misbehaves. Which Misbehave will have spoiled, whiney, mischievous, rude, etc. interactions to target the Domineering--or any Type-D--Sim. The Domineering Sim will have interactions that are, well domineering! In other words, manipulative, arrogant, controlling, and yes, dominant. The Type-D Sim will use those interactions to "train" the type-s Sim, and thus, also gaining experience in being a Master or Mistress.
If you're still with me, or barely hanging on, I'll put it in a nutshell for you:
Sims who are "Tops" have the ultimate goal to be a Master/Mistress.
The submissive or "bottoms" have the goal of being a slave.
Every Personality Trait has its own interactions. Those interactions feed the Courtship relationship. The interactions also help each Sim to progress to either Master/Mistress or slave.
Omggggg, this is already so much longer than what I had planned haha. But I want to give you the full details!
Dominant Skill & Submissive Skill for Training Meter.
I also want to add a skill set, which would be unique to Type-D Sims and Type-s Sims. The skill would determine how Dominate or submissive the Sim is. This skill would increase by the unique interactions that each Sim does. The higher the skill, the more you gain in progress in becoming that Master/Mister or slave! But let me elaborate: the skill is not progressed to become the M/Ms or slave as the end result, but as a ranking to show how well you have trained or been trained.
Unique Trait Moods Help
AND the Courtship and skill will increase quicker when interactions are made when the Sims are in their unique trait mood! So when a Brat is feeling Disobedient, her skill could go up quicker along with the Courtship with her Domineering Mistress wanna-be.
Now this is all just a quick summary I have written up. It may not be as descriptive as it could but I am still ironing out those details. But I want you all to help because your opinion matters! This mod is for you and I want you to get what you want, little pets.
I wish to put both these aspects into the Vol I: BDSM mod--the relationship and the skill set/training meter. But which one do you think should be my priority???
PS. I cannot think of a better word than Courtship...can you?
