JB Weld (original) is good for stuff that needs to hold shape, but it's brittle, which makes it susceptible to fracturing under dynamic loads. So for things that are going to be subject to frequent or changing stress, JB Weld also makes a 5 Minute Epoxy that retains a bit of flexibility.
