Dev Diary 135: Thanks for the caps
🕑 Added 2024-02-04 22:04:05 +0000 UTCHello mutants,
just a quick update today to give you the latest news on the beloved caravans! And boy oh boy, I can tell you there's not that many things which are better than getting paid for a dangerous and flawlessly done 40 days long caravan run. Although from that screenshot, it's hard to say if the Prisoner is pimping herself or finishing a caravan run.
Anyways, with our first successfully finished caravan run, we shall wrap our caravan work and move onto other Hoover Dam content.
And in other news, I also opened some extra social accounts just for the sake of it. No content yet, but here are the links so you can follow if you want.

Talk to you soon,

Thanks, Willem! There will certainly be more tweaks and variety added to the caravan system but for now the major goals have been reached: you can join the caravan, lead it through the world map and get paid for the job based on your performance. You can also abandon it, and even steal from it, something which was planned but not implemented in the original Fallout 2.

Thanks for the update PJ, so happy to hear that the caravan systems are in a good enough state now for you to move onto other areas of FY. All the best and thanks again for update, it is sounding great and I am looking forward to further updates!

Cheers, Andrew!

Nothin better than a nice bottle of rotgut purchased with your hard earned caps.
