Dev Diary 49: 90%
🕑 Added 2021-01-17 20:48:29 +0000 UTCHello mutants, this will be a short but sweet update.
As you can see from the title, 3rd release is around 90% complete! Hooray!
I still have some dialogs and a few quests to finish but most of it is there. Spent quite some time playtesting it and having fun with it. Can't wait to share it with you!
This sort of formula where I work on more than one area for an update suits me very well and I expect to stick to that way of working in the future. I also have some new ideas on how to progress with development faster while delivering new areas. But as I am still trying out these ideas and might throw them out of the window, I will talk more about them after I get this release out.
To illustrate how well this update went, I'll just say that I even found some time to work on a new creature that will appear in the 5th update! Let's hope all the future updates are like this!
See you next week,
-PJ

No, just some high-tech upgrades are tied to the Brotherhood. Crafting system is independent of them. There will be more sources of crafting schematics out there!

Is the new crafting system possible only if you have good relations with the Brotherhood? If earlier almost all players idealized the Brotherhood, now many players look at them only as fanatics who cherish technology only for themselves. Is it better to make the availability of all craft recipes more universal?
PJ
Yes, there will be some new crafting schematics available if you play your cards well with the Brotherhood

Great as always! Hopefully this update will get more publicity, I'll try to help! Will there be more things/weapons to craft?
