Longsword - A Choose Your Own Adventure
🕑 Added 2021-07-11 16:59:41 +0000 UTCI've always loved Choose Your Own Adventure stories, and I notice there are quite a lot of writers on H-F who've done them. They tend to have patrons vote on which direction the story goes, which is really cool.
But that's...not good enough. They never flesh out the non-chosen option.
I want the interactivity and re-readability of the story. I want to see what alternatives there could be, rather than just reading what amounts to a linear story that just so happened to have been chosen by a poll.
I want to see both forks in the road!
And that's what I'm going to be working on, going forward, so I hope you like knights, elves, witches, evil queens, princesses, and sex.
I looked for - and found! - an old CYOA fantasy porn story I commissioned back in 2009, and it's going to be awesome!
I plan on having patrons vote on which choice is made at each decision point.
I repeat: Every option will be drawn. The voting will simply determine which option is drawn first.
I hope you'll enjoy it. I know I will. It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time, and the script is already written. Nothing for me to do other than make awesome art for you guys!
