Announcing the Blood on the Clocktower Script World Cup 2025 - The Garden of Djinn
🕑 Added 2025-01-09 17:49:56 +0000 UTCAs we're taking a break from releasing characters, we feel it's time to give you all a chance to show us what you can come up with using the ones that are already out there. To that end, we invite you all to participate in our grand tournament, the Script World Cup!
The concept is simple. We want you to submit a full-sized script that contains a custom Djinn rule. This rule can be anything you like, but it must have a length of no more than 160 characters. It also may not be altered during the competition, so choose your words wisely.
Some examples of scripts with custom rules are:
Whose Cult is it Anyway? Which contains the custom Djinn rule ‘The Cult Leader is always stormcaught’.
CERE: Claim Everything Really Eagerly which contains the custom Djinn rule ‘All Minions are Cerenovus’.
Submissions are open right now and will close on January 23rd. The best 16 will be selected to battle it out in front of a live audience on our official Twitch channel, as well as a few others.
You can read all of the rules in detail here.
When you're ready to submit your script, please fill in this form.
Good luck!

I'm at work currently. Will it still be up in about 7-8 hours when I get home?

Form is back up again. It reached its filesize limit while I was asleep and auto-closed. - Ben

Same issue here. To me its the morning of the 23rd, so I assumed that it would be open until the end of the day Australian time. What is going on, please let us know. Everyone here has worked a lot on this script.

I was also unable to submit all day. Hopefully we can still.

Please tell me I can still submit. Was busy all day and I didn't know it would close 1 day early
CM Punk Finds It Insulting
It will not allow me to submit my script despite it being the 22nd so I'll just put my Djinn rule here. Djinn rule: Once per game, if 5 players are alive, at night, a Demon may choose to be an Atheist or an Atheist may choose to be the demon on an evil team (Evil info given)

I also missed the window from the time zone difference.

For those of us that it is still the 22nd - is it possible to submit?

What time do submissions close??

In order to maintain fairness, we're asking content creators to hold off on giving exposure to any scripts until after the comp. - Ben

so cool!

Is it required that script playtesting is entirely off record/stream then? Or is there a line between playing the script in a streamed game and promoting it? Basically, will content creators be able to run scripts (their own or others) at all on their own streams?
Ashutosh Jindal
The acronym for the second script should be CERE!
