While Hagrid was concentrating on teaching, halfway across the world in Egypt at Gringotts, something stirred.
Whoosh!
In the row of fireplaces in the hall, one suddenly ignited with deep green flames. The flames burned more vigorously, and a young man carrying a suitcase gradually emerged, stepped forward two paces, and left the flames' range.
"Really, not a single thing has changed."
Evans looked around at the building decorations, which were no different from before, and slowly shook his head.
Buildings made by goblins basically never changed after being constructed. While this was good in many ways, no matter how well-designed, looking at it for too long inevitably became tiresome.
Hogwarts was different. Whether changing color schemes to match the House Cup champion house or adding various holiday decorations, they could give that castle renewed vitality.

After looking around the building a few more times, Evans curled his lips disinterestedly and looked toward the hall entrance.
A somewhat dark-skinned, timid-looking wizard was slowly walking this way. After Evans's gaze fell on him, he shrank back somewhat fearfully.
Evans had actually noticed this person from the start and could roughly guess his purpose for coming.
However, wasn't this taking way too long?
He'd been observing for ages. From the entrance, there were just a few steps, yet it was taking this long to walk.
Seeing Evans staring at him, the wizard instinctively lowered his head. He gritted his teeth and psyched himself up several times internally before raising his head. Looking normal but with his body still trembling somewhat, he walked toward Evans.
"Mr. Kahn?" After reaching Evans, the wizard spoke somewhat timidly, his tone trembling. "Minister Ankhtut asked me to register you. Don't worry, it won't take much of your time."
Evans showed a formulaic smile and chuckled lightly. "He's quite thoughtful. I was originally planning to register at the Ministry."
"You're joking." The wizard wiped sweat from his forehead and couldn't help muttering softly internally.
If this person actually went to the Ministry to register, that would be the last thing the Ministry wanted to see.
However, while thinking this, he didn't dare say it aloud. Instead, following standard procedure, he pulled out a form from his briefcase, then took out a quill himself and filled in line after line of information, occasionally asking questions.
Actually, this information should be filled in by the registrant themselves, but he was somewhat afraid to hand over the pen and paper, so he could only write it himself, asking Mr. Kahn when encountering things he didn't know.
"Mr. Kahn, how long do you expect to stay during this visit?"

"And the purpose of your visit?"
"To help resolve that new pyramid incident near the Nile River." Evans looked somewhat strangely at the wizard. "I wrote about this in my letter to Ankhtut, didn't you know?"
"I knew, just need to confirm." Cold sweat appeared on his forehead. The wizard swallowed and asked no more questions; instead, he rapidly wrote line after line on the paper with his pen.
That speed was almost creating afterimages.
Over a minute later, the wizard took a deep breath and respectfully handed the paper to Evans.
"Please check if it's correct?"
Evans casually glanced twice and handed the paper back to the wizard.
"No problems."
"Thank you for your cooperation." The wizard bowed, then as if remembering something, spoke with a somewhat trembling tone. "That... by convention, we may need to register your wand..."
Seeing Evans's gaze turn toward him, the wizard shrank his neck and tremblingly added, "If you really don't want to, not registering should probably be fine?"
Wait, it's this flexible?
Seeing the person's overly nervous appearance, Evans somewhat helplessly drew out his wand and handed it over.
"No need to be so nervous. Just do your job."
But his action of drawing his wand seemed to frighten the wizard once again, making him shrink his neck, looking as if fearing Evans would fire a Killing Curse the next second.

"Okay, Mr. Kahn." The wizard wiped his forehead again and tremblingly extended his hand to accept the wand Evans handed over.

Carefully placing a blanket on the ground, the wizard respectfully laid the wand on it, pulled out a somewhat strange-looking mirror from his briefcase, shone it over the wand, then picked it up and returned it to Evans while bowing.
"Do you need to register this, too?" After receiving his wand, Evans lifted the suitcase in his hand.
"No, no need!" As if remembering something terrible, the wizard waved his hands repeatedly. Only after watching Evans lower his hand holding the suitcase did he slowly breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thank you for coming to help, Mr. Kahn." Perhaps because he'd finally completed his work, the wizard's expression looked relieved, his tone carrying some sincerity. "The Egyptian Ministry of Magic will forever remember your contributions."

All of this was thanks to the young man before him.
"Thank you too for coming to register for me, saving me considerable trouble." Evans waved his hand. Silver-white arcs of light flashed around him.
"I'm off."
As his words fell, his entire person was enveloped by silver-white arcs and instantly vanished.
Then the wizard heard a resounding eagle cry from outside Gringotts' fireplace hall, echoing through the room, making every passing goblin look upward in terror.
But even rushing to the doorway at top speed, he could only see a golden silhouette that instantly became a small dot in the sky before disappearing.
