Observing the Ice venue shrouded in vision-obscuring steam, Red decisively commanded Milotic to generate a tornado. The Tender Pokémon swung its powerful tail, conjuring a violent vortex that dispersed the surrounding vapor.
Within moments, the obscuring steam was swept away by the rising tornado. The next instant, Jynx—concealed within the shadows—unleashed Ice Beam, seizing the opportunity to strike Milotic's body. Fortunately, the attack didn't trigger the freeze effect, allowing Milotic to evade subsequent Ice Beam assaults.
Through Aqua Ring's continuous healing, Milotic's wounds gradually mended.
"Glide forward and use Iron Tail."
Milotic swung its tail to launch itself airborne, sliding gracefully from the ice pillar onto the frozen surface. Leveraging its remarkable flexibility, Milotic rapidly glided before Jynx, raising its tail—now gleaming with metallic silver light—preparing to deliver Iron Tail directly.
"Jynx, quickly use Psychic!" Ryosuke commanded desperately.
In its panic, Jynx immediately deployed Psychic, projecting powerful telekinetic force toward the approaching Milotic. Through concentrated mental effort, Jynx barely redirected Milotic's attack trajectory toward a nearby ice pillar.
The violent impact shattered the ice pillar instantly, reducing it to scattered fragments.
Witnessing this devastating display, Jynx swallowed nervously, terrified of suffering a direct hit from Milotic's Iron Tail.
"Jynx, use Zen Headbutt!"
Following Ryosuke's command, Jynx's eyes radiated azure luminescence. The Human Shape Pokémon waved both hands consecutively, releasing materialized psychic waves at Milotic, inflicting physical damage.
"Aqua Tail," Red stated calmly.
Torrential water enveloped Milotic's tail. Observing the psychic waves approaching, Milotic pivoted laterally, using Aqua Tail to obliterate the incoming Zen Headbutt before following up with Ice Beam that struck Jynx's body, draining stamina.
"Milotic, continue with Scald."
Upon hearing Red's directive, Milotic parted its jaws to spray scalding water toward Jynx, attempting to inflict burn status.
But Jynx's survival instincts proved sharper than anticipated. It rapidly deployed Psychic to manipulate the boiling water elsewhere. The thick ice surface melted upon contact, generating rising steam.
Jynx glanced fearfully at the liquefied ice, regarding Milotic ahead with heightened caution.
"Disarming Voice."
Noticing Jynx's momentary distraction, Milotic immediately emitted an enchanting cry. The Disarming Voice penetrated Jynx's consciousness, inflicting mental damage.
"Rush forward and use Iron Tail!" Red commanded.
Milotic launched itself upward, gliding across the ice surface with undulating movements toward Jynx.
"No! Jynx, quickly use Fake Tears!" Ryosuke shouted anxiously, fearing Jynx would be devastated by a single Iron Tail from Milotic. Steel-type moves dealt double super-effective damage to Jynx, and its pitifully low physical defense couldn't withstand such an assault.
Hearing Ryosuke's desperate command, Jynx suddenly burst into theatrical tears, covering its face and wailing pitifully, as if Milotic had committed some terrible offense.
Witnessing this performance, Milotic froze in complete confusion, not understanding the sudden dramatic shift. They'd been battling intensely moments ago—why this abrupt display?
However, Milotic wasn't sympathizing with Jynx's plight. Rather, it was momentarily distracted by the crude crying performance.
"Don't lose focus. Continue attacking," Red reminded firmly.
Hearing this, Milotic abandoned hesitation, immediately swinging its tail forcefully toward Jynx's body.
Although attempting to deploy Psychic to mitigate Iron Tail's damage, under Milotic's fierce assault, Jynx's telekinetic control faltered from the intense pain, unable to maintain rational concentration.
"I'm counting on you, Jynx! Use Perish Song as our final move!" Ryosuke shouted with desperate determination.
Under the oppressive agony, Jynx instinctively sang a haunting, sorrowful melody. Perish Song penetrated Milotic's consciousness, placing a curse upon the Tender Pokémon.
But Milotic showed no hesitation, forcefully landing Iron Tail squarely on Jynx's body.
The violent impact reverberated throughout the Ice venue as Jynx collapsed powerlessly with eyes rolled back, completely unable to continue battling.
"Jynx is unable to battle!" The referee raised the red flag and announced.
"As expected, we lost. But at least Jynx successfully activated Perish Song—that's somewhat fortunate," Ryosuke admitted helplessly, touching the final Poké Ball at his waist, investing all remaining hope in his last partner.
At least defeat Milotic, or force a switch, he thought desperately.
"Contestant Ryosuke now has only one remaining Pokémon! What formidable strength will this final partner—upon which Ryosuke places his ultimate hope—possess? Let's find out!" the announcer proclaimed.
"I'm counting on you for the finale, Machamp!"
Ryosuke threw his final Poké Ball with emphatic force.
White light burst forth, revealing Machamp with distinctive light blue skin, wearing a golden championship belt, black pattern resembling athletic briefs, and four powerful arms.
"It's appeared! The final Pokémon is the Fighting-type Machamp! Clearly, contestant Ryosuke intends to leverage Machamp's balanced offensive and defensive capabilities to overcome Milotic..."
Before the announcer completed his analysis, Red suddenly withdrew his Poké Ball to recall the energetic Milotic—ignoring its resentful expression—before immediately deploying another ball.
"It appears Lord Red, exercising caution, has opted to switch Pokémon to avoid Perish Song's curse, deploying the Fighting-type Hitmonchan instead!"
White light revealed Hitmonchan wearing armor resembling a samurai's skirt and sporting distinctive boxing gloves.

After the match bell rang, Hitmonchan and Machamp simultaneously advanced, charging at each other with fists prepared.

Hitmonchan reached Machamp first, swinging its right fist at lightning velocity to strike Machamp's torso heavily.
Machamp's expression contorted in pain, not anticipating Hitmonchan's punch would carry such tremendous force.
After Hitmonchan's assault concluded, Machamp immediately seized Hitmonchan's extended arm, pivoting laterally to hurl Hitmonchan's back forcefully onto the thick ice surface, inflicting considerable damage.
