“I told you, you would make it!” I hugged Izuka as she made it into the top ten of the examination results. She looked on confused at the list. ‘How did she manage to make it on this list?’ That is probably what she was thinking. I kissed the side of her face as we had both passed and ended up in the same class as well. I had half expected it to be because her sensei was someone important but I couldn’t tell.
Besides the shocked look, I think she realized I kissed her because her face started lighting up from our contact. I was feeling more clingy than normal, I think it was a side effect of my draining kiss. I was calculating it, even though it didn’t matter. Villain points appeared to be weighted more than rescue points. My help got her two places higher at the end. I couldn’t help but smile at her excitement to make it while I wondered where the fuck her power quirk came from.
That didn’t matter, we would be starting UA college soon and I couldn’t be happier that she had somehow made it. Entering the class together, I was surprised that only about half of the students who made it onto the top ten were in class 1-A while the rest went to 1-B. You would figure all of the best would go to one class but it might have had to do with politics.
Too many quirks that didn’t have the pull of other quirks. There were two people with different hardening quirks so the higher-ranked one was in our class while Tetsutetsu was in 1-B. It didn’t make any sense to me that Ibara wasn’t in our class though, it probably had to do with someone paying to take her place. I wish it gave us the full list of participants so I could have critiqued it more.
Well, anyway we had to pick a class representative and I’d rather not be the leader so pushed it onto Midoriya. I wasn’t even sure what it meant to be class representative but I knew she had put in more work than most to be a hero already. She cried out after the vote. “I-I got four!?” Most other people voted for themselves. I wonder who the other two were… It wasn’t important though.
The next was the quirk apprehension test. Once again I had an unfair advantage but this time I wasn’t winning every single one. Some people's quirks were better designed for events like the ball throw where Ochako launched the ball into orbit. Momo was winning about every other event as well but I still barely squeaked out a victory and placed higher than her. The final ranks.

Izuka was still getting used to her new quirk and couldn’t control its output. One second she would be doing well, the next she would be covered in bruises because she moved too quickly. At least she wasn’t using her full power like she did with the punch that took out the giant robot. You’d figure she’d know better but I’m glad she didn’t just keep smashing her head at the problem instead of thinking about it more than a second.
Her body clearly couldn’t use the full power of the quirk, which was clear to see when she was left with a broken finger from flinging the ball further than Kacchan. I knew her well enough to know the quirk wasn’t hers. The quirks that can be given away are normally much, much weaker than what she had. I thought her sensei had something to do with it, but couldn’t be sure.
Now, someone might wonder how Momo was competing with others to the point she could win most of the events… Her quirk was by far the most versatile, she could make a pole vault to clear the sand for the long jump or a moped for the long-distance run. I was told not to use my demonic form for every event as it would invalidate the test but I thought it was just so I didn’t win every test besides the person whose quirk made them really good at that particular thing.
Shoto couldn’t show off his quirk which meant he placed that high just because he was the most fit overall student with the best overall stats compared to others with one or two glaring weaknesses. I still think he was overrated. He was supposed to be the top student, at least that’s how most of the other students viewed him but I think I was more athletic than him in my base form let alone my demonic form.
He also had a self-imposed rule that was making him weaker than he would be if he used both parts of his power. It just felt like everyone was trying their best and he was spitting on their effort by only trying half as hard. I walked over and planted a kiss on Deku again to help her wounds heal more quickly. The physical boost she gained also made her less likely to be hurt from using her powers but I couldn’t use it before the testing was done.
Aizawa said it would skew the test results. I agreed with him but it was hard to not heal someone close to me who was injured… I think there might have been a reverse charm effect on those I gave health to with my drain kiss. I had viewed her as my friend for most of our childhood while I knew she liked me but… Since that first kiss, I have been trying to find more reasons to kiss her.
With her accident-prone self and physical boost that allowed her to use her quirk better, it was like a match made in heaven. I stretched as I felt the hit to my energy from the drain kiss. Everyone was looking at me like I kicked a puppy as Hanta asked. “Aren’t you dating Momo? Why you kissing Izuka?” I couldn’t help but laugh as I explained. “I can heal and provide a small physical boost to those I kiss. That will help Izuka with her pain until she goes to see Recovery Girl.”
He scratched his head before he mentioned it. “Well… If I get hurt I’ll make my way over to you.” I looked at him deadpan as I said. “I’m straight and won't kiss men but I can sacrifice your life expectancy to heal you if you really need it.” He gulped at my statement before looking forward at Aizawa who was listening just as intently as the other students were.
