NRaO Chapter 62
🕑 Added 2024-10-31 22:49:36 +0000 UTCI used one of the new chakra tools one of my scientist underlings had made. She had taken to making new ninja tools like a duck to water and I was just happy I managed to save her from being murdered with the rest of her clan. Nanaho Uzumaki was a prodigy. Even at six years old I could tell she was going to be a huge force in the future as she had already revolutionized how our village lived with many quality-of-life inventions.
The chakra recorder could store sounds and be repeated back later by pressing the ‘play’ button. Hitting the record button I mentioned. “Test number… Six hundred and fourteen. The progress had come forward tremendously after I had eaten the Uzumaki. Not only do I have more chakra but he also had a small affinity towards time/space ninjutsu. I think that today could possibly be the day my new ninjutsu is created.”
Pressing the stop button I take a few seconds to collect my thoughts before pressing the record button again. “The method of teleportation I’m attempting would revolutionize the world. To start, it would allow me to teleport to any of my puppet clones as I could incorporate the required seals on every single one of them. Having the puppets supply the necessary chakra on both sides would also reduce the cost tremendously and I could possibly even teleport other people from the inside of one of my puppets to another.”
Taking another few seconds to gather my thoughts on the possible implications of this jutsu I continued. “The possibility of making larger versions for fast travel from one village to the next, or one side of the territory to the other would have tremendous applications for the future.” Pressing the stop button again I take in a deep breath as this is where I could fail. Failing would be the better outcome than having the test fail which could severely injure if not kill me.
I begin the hand signs sequence. It had more than twice the number of hand signs than the next hardest at one hundred and fourteen. Dragon, tiger, horse, ox, ram, tiger, serpent, serpent, bird, monkey, tiger, dog, rat, horse, hare, boar, ram, tiger, dragon. I went through the hand signs as I kneaded the chakra to perform the ninjutsu.
As I grew close to the end of the chain I couldn’t help but gulp in anticipation. If this was successful it would revolutionize war, I could be a lot more risky with my decisions as it would only take a single jutsu to escape from any situation. That was why I hadn’t invaded all the villages more than just the information networks that I had in place.
As I finished the chain I couldn’t help but feel my butthole pucker as this was the most dangerous thing I had done in my entire life. If I was caught helping the Uzumaki escape I could have always fled with a much smaller group. As ruthless as it was, if the armies sent stronger forces I would have sacrificed many of the Uzumaki to escape. It just made sense in my head, I gave them a second chance at life they could give their own lives to buy me time to escape.
That wasn’t the case though, I knew they wouldn’t send more than a few hundred weaker ninjas to pursue as they had already lost so much in the attack. Far more of their forces died in the process than any village anticipated and they had lost all the knowledge, scrolls, ninja tools, and weapons as I had raided their vaults before them.
This was new ground. I was pushing the boundaries of what was possible, the technique invented by the second Hokage was devised for himself which made it necessary to create your own version. In that process, I was removing some of the weaknesses of his original jutsu like it’s short range and extremely high chakra cost.
I teleport across the room as my vision shifts. I was expecting to see the inside of the puppet clone but to my surprise, I had outright replaced locations with the clone. The clone sat across the room staring at me before falling to the ground as if its strings were cut. I felt a sudden lethargy, which I only felt when I was near chakra depletion. Somewhere I fucked up and the ninjutsu completed itself at possibly five or six times the expected chakra cost.
I only wanted to transport myself but by transporting myself and the puppet on the other side it made it more expensive… I would have to figure out where I went wrong but… I was still alive and completely intact. At the very least I had devised a way to escape and this could be considered a completely different but similar jutsu to the one I tried to create. I’d have to perfect it as the cost was too high, even for my insane reserves.
The jutsu most likely would have killed me if I hadn’t absorbed the Uzumaki boy. His bloodline increasing my chakra pool and his minor affinity for time/space ninjutsu were the only reasons it hadn’t failed spectacularly in my own death. It was still a step in the right direction but… Perhaps I should double the chakra batteries on the puppets just in case another failure like this happens.
Weeks went by as I perfected my three new jutsu. I had perfected the body transfer jutsu. It now only took eighty-eight hand signs and was only a quarter of its original cost while the cost could be mostly supplied by the puppet's larger chakra batteries as well. The cost to me would only be about twenty percent of my entire chakra pool which was extremely low in comparison to the utility it provided. The distance traveled would increase the chakra cost but I had also devised pads the puppets could get on to supply more chakra and reduce the cost even further.
My original idea was the next and the easiest to complete. I had messed up on the puppet's seals so instead of teleporting to the inside of the puppet it just swapped our places. A few redesigns and now the puppets could be used for both, this method was once again cheapened dramatically from the original price. It began at fifty percent of my chakra which I had whittled down to ten percent with just the puppet and only five percent if the puppet was on the teleportation platform. I could also just teleport to the platforms but it was more cost effective to have both there to reduce the cost.
The final jutsu I created was a capture jutsu. I could put someone inside one of the puppet clones and teleport them away. This would allow me to teleport people over long distances which was thought to be if not impossible extremely difficult and it would have taken a team to do. Perfecting the process to teleport products was the next step and the turbulence of the jutsu itself meant it would be impossible for little children or non ninjas to survive unless they were inside the puppet. Those were kinks I still needed to work out of the system though.
I knew it was only a matter of time as I enjoyed my completion of a new ninjutsu by teleporting back to my home in Konoha. I hoped my wives had missed me as much as I missed them because I planned to spend a considerable time making sure many of them got pregnant again before I left.
