IM/DC Chapter 185
🕑 Added 2024-08-31 14:18:50 +0000 UTCI looked over at the girls covered in our combined love juices. The four of them were only human and even after they were enhanced it wasn’t fair to them. The triplets were connected mentally causing them to overload on each other's pleasure. Wilhelmina was fighting an uphill battle against multiple people. They were quickly wiped out and would remember this night for the rest of their lives. For me, it was just a Tuesday.
The Hellfire Gala had problems but no ambassadors died, most were more excited by the fights or didn’t know what was happening. It was hectic and some might have developed a bad opinion, but at the very least they’d see how powerful mutants were. Most were mind whammied by Emma and would follow her orders but there were that few that could turn humanity against us. At this point it was more up to them than me though, I did my job stopping their extinction from a robot I’m going to fuck later.
I still had Mother Righteous, X-23, Dazzler, Jubilee, and two maybes in Rogue and Selene. Plus Hestia and Nym, I was going to be busy making everyone happy in the foreseeable future. I also wanted to do other things, finish some plans, and kill some of the more unsavory villains. The thing with Quicksilver is it sort of filled every single power I wanted, it just took a few extra steps to do.
The first was phasing, all speedsters could phase through materials, I could already do it with magic but I had another option. The reality warping powers were nice but I didn’t see much use in it except to automatically fill fridges the moment I entered a new room. Having reality alteration made it so if I fought a reality warper they’d have an even harder time changing things around me. The final thing would be photographic reflexes. I could already learn at an extremely rapid pace but with speedster abilities, I could read a book or group of books on a subject and be one of the foremost authorities on that subject.
Welp, enough thinking about my new powers, I got a few more things to deal with then I can relax again.

Peter’s Point of View
“To the future of Parker Inc.” We clinked our champagne glasses together as everyone around me started clapping. Somehow we succeeded, I went from selling pictures of myself and delivering pizza to working with my Aunt’s business to finally running a company of my own.
The ideas pushed forth would revolutionize prosthetics for the rest of humanity. Not only was I going for a closer representation of a normal lost limb, but I was also striving for maximum utility as well. The arm could function exactly like a normal arm, or it had several alternate forms, one including an octopus-like tentacle of Doc Ock.
There were many utility uses and several safety protocols in place as well, perfecting the autonomous actions like Doc Ock’s tentacles but the control could never fall to the tentacles as the chip was thoroughly routed in the design and it would shut down if the control chip short-circuited or burnt out. The prosthetics could give someone a feeling of normalcy but also safety in this dangerous world.
I noticed Sophia clinked her champagne glass with me but she didn’t drink to the toast. I put my hand on her shoulder as I asked. “Is everything okay?” She looked scared for a moment but then it turned to resolve as she clinked her glass with a spoon again as she spoke. “I’d like to make another announcement… I’m pregnant!” Breath caught in my throat as I couldn’t believe it. We had only been dating for a month or so and so much has already happened in that short period of time.
The cheers she got were far louder than my business doing well. Someone coughed as they were drinking as she made the announcement. The person looked an awful lot like Tony Stark. As she leaned into my chest I couldn't help but cry tears of happiness. We make the rounds and talk to everyone important that showed up. A few potential investors before greeting my Aunt May. She couldn’t do anything but chuckle as she spoke. “What brilliant timing she has. It looks like me and her will have children around the same time.” Once again I feel like I was punched in the gut at the sudden news.
They gushed and talked with each other as I noticed someone I hadn’t seen in a long time. As I got close to her I gave out a greeting. “Long time no see Mary Jane.” The frown she had shifted immediately as she looked over at me. “Good to see you again Tiger… I’m happy for you.” I couldn’t help but smile back at her. She was beautiful before but she somehow got even more attractive. I couldn’t help but mention it. “Well, I mean you look great. What are you doing differently?”
She let out a little chuckle. “Oh, I just work out more often. I try to get my cardio in as often as I possibly can now. Well, it was nice seeing you again Tiger… I hope everything works out for you.” She walked off as Chat caught up with me and asked. “Who was that?” As I watched Mary Jane leave the party I answered. “She was just a girl I had a crush on before… It feels like forever ago though.”
Chat asked again. “Should I be jealous?” I pulled her into myself as I whispered in her ear. “No… I feel nothing for her anymore. I’ll be way too busy taking care of you and the baby to worry about a girl I liked in high school… Besides, she never gave me the time of day and she has her modeling career to worry about.” I was just more grounded and peaceful than before. I might have tried to cover it up but I was being completely honest with her, she was always honest with me after all.
We made our way to the last person who arrived fashionably late. I was growing to like the man who had saved my Aunt. While I didn’t like how much a horn dog he was, he proved himself a good man in many other ways besides being loyal to a single woman. How much my Aunt liked him might have swayed my opinion of him towards that feeling though.
I smile at him as I remember he missed out on the news. “So, you might have not heard but my business put out its first product and my girlfriend here is pregnant.” Even he looked shocked by that information as he put his hand on her shoulder and started muttering to himself. “Not an alien or demon baby. No birth defects from the altered DNA… Alright, everything looks normal.” He lets go as he gives us both a big smile. “That’s great news! I’m so happy for you two.”
Sophie asked. “What was that about?” With his hands in his pockets, Danny explains. “Just making sure no comic book shit is up with your baby. Had to make sure it wasn’t like an evil clone or a body changer being reborn or some dumb shit like that. Oh, she’ll also be a mutant like yourself, do you want to know her mutation?” He leaned in and whispered that last part as the sounds of everyone else faded away like he was concealing our conversation.
Sophia said. “Sure, could be good to know in the future.” He popped up ready to give us that news. “Well, you know how you can talk to animals? Her power is insect manipulation and enhancement.” Sophia and I responded to the thing he offhandedly mentioned as we both yelled. “Her!?”
