HPSU Chapter 08

I could use magic, but ever since she had hers sealed, she gets depressed when people use it in front of her. Tying the knot a little harder than necessary I walk over to the corner and grab the cat of nine tails off the wall.
Moving over to her first, I put the ball gag into her mouth. There was no reason for her to be crying out with the baby close by. I pulled her hair off her back, lined up, and began striking her like normal. The cat of nine tails didn’t have sharp points, it would defeat the purpose of the punishment if I had to heal her every time we did this.
Every few seconds the sounds of a whip striking a person followed by a muffled grunt of pain would sound throughout the room. As much as this ‘punishment’ worked at keeping her docile, it did take a lot out of our relationship and I still had to do this even years after the fact. It was a thing that was more business as usual than anything I liked.
Punishing my brother's murderers sounded good on paper, but years after that fact with most of the murderers left women having my children it felt like overkill. Somehow most had developed similar kinks, perhaps it was just the way English witches' minds worked. Perhaps they still felt like the mistakes they made hadn’t been paid yet. Perhaps they were like Bella here and enjoyed the ‘torture’ more than I did. Who knows at the end of the day.
As an hour finally passed, her body covered in red marks sweat and her breathing heavily, I finally ripped off her panties and got to work really punishing her.

Harry’s Point of View
After magic item creation, there was only one class left. Magical blacksmithing and I was looking forward to it. This was a new addition to the course work and it mainly had to do with training up new people to make the goblin metal magical tools and specially made goblin silver wands. The creation of magical ironworks had quickly grown to outspeed the number of potion shops. Especially with Snape all but guaranteeing only Slytherin ended up taking the owls for potions.
The teacher was a huge woman and as her bottom half was mostly exposed, I could tell she wasn’t all human either. She had thick, horse-like legs. Tall, about 250 centimeters tall. Surprisingly beautiful if you don’t look at her legs with an ample chest, brown hair with blonde braids, and freckles speckled across her face and chest.
She waits for all of us to come inside before she stares me down. “Harry flippin Potta! As I live an breave.” Woah, that is a thick cockny accent. Everyone else looked at me now as well which I disliked. I had learned to deal with crowds but still didn’t like all the attention they brought. “It’s nice to meet you miss…” A soft smile spread across her face at my question. “It’s Rain, dat it is.”
Still with a big smile on her face, she explained. “Plus your uncol Tommy is da one who made most ov the magicol ironwork produc's we use today. Da guys like a mo’ern day Merlin, dat 'e is.” I almost wish my ring translated her to actual English but it was too similar to parse out the differences. The big smile never falling off her face she grabs two different wands.
“These be magicol wands unlike anyfing like ours. This.” She held up the one in her left hand. “Is a squib wand.” Holding up the other. “An this. Is a muggle wand.” She went on to explain how each worked and the process learned by my uncle on how to make them. Normal magic wands have two components. There are more expensive versions that have intricate runes carved into the wand itself, but the basic wands ninety-nine percent of what most wizards used were just a different type of wood and core.
The way a wizard becomes a squib is normally one of two problems. Either the wizard cannot store the magic in their body, making it so they constantly produced and expelled mana or they couldn’t expel mana, making it so the mana they had in their body couldn’t be used for spells.
My uncle figured out that if he put a mana battery onto a wand, a squib with the problem that they couldn’t store mana would be constantly filling it and a squib that couldn’t expel could prick their finger with the part of the wand, forming a blood seal making the wand a part of their body allowing them to cast.
The problem was fairly easy to figure out but no one in the history of the world did… At least no one in England ever did. My uncle got drunk before and said most of his ideas came from other magical communities around the world and most of the work was done and written down on Japanese scrolls. He visited other countries as part of his business and constantly bought up other country's secret techniques or books.
The muggle wand was similar, the magical batteries came from a book purchased from Germany. The writer was killed during the war and the muggle family who sold the book didn’t realize what they had on their hands. The 25000 Deutsche marks(roughly 275 euros) he gave them for it made him millions of galleons. At some point, he became the richest wizard in England from his inventions but you wouldn’t know it from the outside looking in.
The muggle wand needed to be charged by a wizard to use and could only get out a small portion of spells before it ran out. Even then, the person had to learn to use each spell which was far more difficult for them than actual wizards because they needed to use the wand to practice but would quickly run it dry. The biggest uses for them were muggle wives learning basic home spells for cooking and cleaning to make their lives easier.
She was practically heaving in breath from excitement as she kept speaking about the other inventions. Magical inventions created by reverse engineering muggle inventions. The mirror communication system, elvish labor group, floating transportation disks, non-stick pots and pans, and items focused around other races besides humans.
Size reduction collars for giants, centaur weaponry, goblin abacus, goblin magical watches, and elven clothing. He made it trendy to dress your house elf in fine clothing. The finer the more wealthy the person looked to the outside. My uncle had revolutionized the magical world and he was only thirty-five years old. At some point, the comparisons of him to Dumbledore, Newt, or Flammel stopped and people only compared him to Merlin in terms of what he’s accomplished.
Half of the spells taught at Hogwarts were from Merlin with the other half coming from everyone else. My uncle was slowly closing the gap and sometime in his seventies, if he kept up the same amount of spells created, he’d surpass Merlin on spells created. Even with all that, after a single class, I was getting sick of Rain fangirling over my uncle.
