FREV Chapter 5.5
🕑 Added 2024-07-28 12:00:44 +0000 UTCI woke up that day and decided to look at my stats. I checked them shortly after I was alone inside my room but everything read as errors because of how much higher my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats were compared to the maximum a human could reach. The original menu looked something like this.

I assumed the errors were from the system not being able to calculate the values above what the maximum limit could reach so it would just error out like that. I had made many changes to my stats and skills in my pip-boy while I waited to be sent outside. I didn’t need to see them anymore after I leveled lockpicking to 100 and barter and speech above 50 I set it to automatically add the skill points I get until everything reached max. After killing the old man, I leveled to two and could pick my first perk.
Lady Killer: +10% damage to the opposite sex, and unique dialogue options with certain characters
Daddy’s Boy: +5 science and +5 medicine
Mamma’s Boy: +5 small guns and +5 repair
Little Leaguer: +5 melee weapons and +5 explosives
Thief: +5 lockpick and +5 sneak
Swift Learner: 10% increase in XP whenever XP is earned
Intense Training: +1 to any SPECIAL stat
The only one that makes sense is Lady Killer. The skill increases serve no purpose to me at this point, the same goes with gaining more special stats. Swift Learner would be decent… If it didn’t take a perk slot at max level. I planned on reaching max level so it would reduce the amount of perks I had by three by the time I reached max level. So I pick Lady Killer and move on.
I was already so strong. In comparison to other people who gained their pip-boy’s. My stats and skills were so overwhelmingly high they couldn’t be tracked on top of all the special traits and perks I had on top of that. That plus the cutting-edge armor, weaponry, and tools it made me an unstoppable killing machine. I could go and most likely wipe out the city above Vault Zero but why would I? It made far more sense to take it over.
I needed to work on my plans, which I wanted to get my sister for, but Cindy was lying on me… I sat still for another twenty minutes but I needed less sleep than her and I knew soon I’d need to pee. I unceremoniously rolled her off me before tossing a blanket over her body, leaving only her head exposed to the cold air. My body even while fully naked felt no discomfort from the cold.
Putting on my pants and shirt I decided to go without my vault suit for now. If walking around in power armor was a signal for enemies to run, the blue jumpsuit was a signal for them to try and capture us for information. It would put targets on our backs if the leader spread the fact that the vault was under the city. There was still a chance he kept the information to himself, sort of like a loosely kept secret that over time would turn into a ghost story.
Everyone who could verify its location was most likely dead by now, if not from bullets then from old age. I think the leader being a R.E.V. user betrayer would be the only one who knew exactly what went down. The area we were in was lush, it was because of the G.E.C.K. he stole and used on top of the vault. Daisy was up already and she made many changes to Cindy’s C.A.M.P. including putting down a cooking pot and building an actual roof against one side with many crafting stations resting against it.
She stirs a pot of soup as she looks over at me. “Well?” I put my finger into the boiling liquid before tasting it. “Well, what?” I added a pinch of salt to the vegetable stew before she responded. “Well, how was the sex dummy?” I tossed a knife at a nearby rad roach who had been lured in by the smell and collected its meat to add to the pot. “It was amazing obviously. I don’t know if you saw me but I was ready to burst from anything. I could have enjoyed sex with an animal at that point let alone a beautiful woman like Cindy.”
As if summoned by her name Cindy spoke and put her shirt on. She must have noticed neither of us was wearing our jumpsuits and swapped clothes. She spoke sheepishly. “I hope I was better than an animal… Um… I need help peeing and my legs don’t want to work. Can you carry me behind those trees?”
