NRaO Chapter 15
🕑 Added 2024-04-21 04:45:29 +0000 UTCMy nostrils flare as I stare her down, the smug look on her face pissing me off to an infuriating level. I manage to calm myself down enough to taunt her. “You don’t look like the leader, not nearly regal enough. Is there perhaps someone above you I can talk to about becoming a sage?” That pissed her off and made me smirk as she stood up.
Most likely because she wasn’t used to her human form as she stood her robe opened up falling to the ground exposing her naked body fully to me. While I could appreciate her beauty, a body perfect for having children, I wasn’t becoming aroused like I would towards any other women I came across. No, I wanted to kill her, she was a threat to my rule as leader and she murdered my mother. I wanted to rip her throat out and taste her blood as life fades from her body.
I couldn’t help but smirk as she was so easily manipulated by words. No, one of us was fated to die here and for some reason I didn’t want it to be done through trickery. This snake waited until the perfect chance to kill my mother. It just felt cowardly and not deceitful. I could handle being deceitful, if the snake would have poisoned my mother then struck I’d have been fine with it and challenged her outright. Because she was such a coward I wanted to embarrass her before I killed her.
Proving I was so much stronger than her that she couldn’t do anything to me would go a long way to making me feel better about my mothers death. Having her beg for her life would also feel great. I decided that is what I wanted to do and began to shift into my half form. The snake lady's nostrils flared at my stronger scent as she recoiled backwards.
“You were the newborn!” She pointed her finger at me scared for a moment before she composed herself and smirked at me. “You should have kept getting stronger before coming here!” She started to change forms into that of the giant snake. I was happy with her shortsightedness. If it was a purely physical battle the giant snake form would make sense but it would completely lock you out of using ninjutsu.
Even if I also chose to enter my giant form I’d still most likely beat her because my body was strengthened with the chakra cycling method. Also I couldn’t use weapons in that big form. I unfurled the summoning scroll and unleashed a blade I made specifically for this fight. It wasn’t technically a blade, more of a jagged rusted hunk of metal.
Once again I didn’t want to just defeat her, I wanted to embarrass her. I had better weapons but I wanted to beat her with the useless chunk of metal in a vague sword shape. She wasted no time and dove at me head first, mouth open. I launched my bombs at her and jumped out of the way. The fight would have been over immediately if I tossed grenades instead of what I did but the moment they popped she cried out in pain from the spice bomb she ate.
She reeled back as her mouth burned and another two bombs struck near her eyes blinding her temporarily. She was in pain before but the fresh eye pain made her cries reach a new level. Completely blinded with her main weapon numb she could do nothing but be whaled on by the giant sword. She shifted back into a human and I continued to pummel her until she could no longer move.
I had gotten most of my frustration out on her and was not sure if I wanted to torture her until she begged for death or just kill her until she started talking. “Alive! Your mother is still alive! We’re not allowed to kill one another after the great snake war!” I didn’t want to believe it. My hand shook as I wanted to punch a hole in her head but I managed to stop myself. I gritted my teeth and asked. “Where is she?” She pointed with her finger at a little hole. I dragged the snake woman by her hair out of the side of the cave leading to another forest.
The forest was completely surrounded by mountains concealing it from the rest of the world. I kept asking the snake for directions and after dragging her over some rocks and through a river I was growing to enjoy bullying her. I could smell she liked how dominant I was and liked to be treated roughly. We make it to a dilapidated shack with its roof sunk in.
When we entered for a moment I stopped breathing. There she was but at the same time her beauty was stolen. Her eyes were sunken and large black veins were spread through most of her body. It didn’t look like she’d live another day let alone for the years since I’ve been gone. She looked like she was on the verge of starving to death, her chest sunken in exposing her ribs. Someone left a carcass in front of her and it began to rot, she was unable to move from her deathbed.
She manages to open her eyes and look at the person who appeared in her door. Tears flowed down my face at the sight and I wasn’t sure whether to try and save her or put her out of her misery. The snake all but killed her by leaving her to a slow death to poison. I yanked the black haired snake up to my eye level as I almost shouted. “How!? How do I fix her?”
The snake only looked at me in fear of not having an answer. I punched her with all my strength, knocking her unconscious and almost killing her. Fangs grew in my mouth and I punctured my mothers neck. She was so close to death trying to pull the poison from her might kill her but it was the only way to get her to start recovering.
The black from the veins pulled towards where I began to suck. Instead of becoming sick I felt myself becoming stronger, the poison turning into natural energy revitalizing my body. The problem was it was too much. I felt my body changing. It first shifted into my half form, it took a decent amount of chakra to do normally but my body instinctively did it for free trying to burn off the natural energy.
I felt that if I didn’t start using this natural energy something bad would happen. I pointed my hands backwards and began pouring chakra from them. I didn’t have the time to form ninjutsu, just pouring out as much as I could. My body began to convert the poison into natural energy and the natural energy into chakra at a faster and faster rate but it still wasn’t enough.
My skin started to harden, some parts becoming stone and flaking off. Just as I’m about to be overwhelmed and fall unconscious or turn to stone I finish sucking out the poison. I crumpled like a puppet with its strings cut. When I woke my mother was already looking much better but I was surprised to see that the black haired snake was looking down at me.
I stood up and grabbed her by her face making her cheeks puff out and her lips part. While I was infuriated by her the worst didn’t happen. There were ways to get her to make it up to me since my mother was still alive. Even just making contact with her now made her arousal spike. I kissed her, drawing a shocked expression before biting down on her lip. “You’re not forgiven. What you did to my mother you’ll be making up for the rest of your life… That will start with us getting her food.”
