MT Chapter 11
🕑 Added 2024-04-08 16:25:14 +0000 UTCThey take your blood whenever you’re born and test against it to prove you are who you say you are. A king was once replaced and it wasn’t found out until one of his wives felt a difference in their love making to know he wasn’t the real one. A very short war where most of the previous king’s children died before it had finished happened afterwards.
Many of the methods to prove you are came about from that tragedy but the amount of attempted coups it stopped far outweighed the brief period of upheaval on the continent. Now even villagers on the fringe edge of the kingdom had their blood taken and tested when it was thought that they might have been replaced. I put my finger into the blood testing machine and felt a prick. Shortly after the light glows green.
“Well that proves you are who you say you are at least. That doesn’t explain anything else that happened.”
He pulled me into a separate room and closed the door. I had to keep grabbing Aki and pulling her back to my side as she unconsciously moved towards Victor. We sat down and I asked.
“So you don’t think the mayor should be notified? Something happen? You guys are normally on the same page.”
“Yea. You happened. He’s pushing for a church healer to be brought in. If he knew you were back he might try to say you didn’t succeed or something. If people around the village see you like you belong here it’ll make his job of kicking you out that much harder.”
Ahh that makes sense. We had an acolyte in the village but he was here mainly to collect tithes for the main branch. Our village didn’t even bring in enough money for him to keep the church up on repairs. It was probably a power play to try and take some away from the sheriff. He would turn twenty-five percent of the population against him though as they weren’t humans.
The sheriff was married to an elf and her sister also lived in the village. I couldn’t help but let out a little smirk as I realized I just fucked up the mayors future plans by surviving.
“Heh. That’s if he didn’t get thrown out of the village himself. A quarter of the village isn’t human and another huge portion are married or get along with them. If he pushed for that it might have ended badly for him.”
“Hmmm. That’s if they were only going to send one or two people. Chances are they’d have sent a group of templars to help protect the border and a few people to start preaching. It doesn’t take very long to convince people to go against their own interests if you’re good at talking. Enough about that.” He waved dismissively. “What’s up with the goblin? I know for a fact they can’t be tamed by beast tamers.”
I spent the next five minutes telling him exactly what happened before I died. I even told him about my death. I thought about it and if I was going to tell anyone it would be the sheriff… For some reason it felt that keeping that a secret from everyone was a cowardly thing to do. Surprisingly he had an idea of what happened.
“Hmmm. I’ve never heard of that exact thing happening but we’ve had souls pass over to this world before. They’re normally reborn as heroes and they even have a special designation people have given them. They’re called outworlders.”
“God I’d have loved to be reborn. Whoever put me in this useless body. Why the fuck didn’t this asshole take a knife with him? He took money with him! What was he going to do, bribe a monster to not kill him? Here you go Mr. Wolf, please don’t eat my ass. You know he never picked up an axe or used light armor? It’s like he purposely tried to not level his skills which I know isn’t true he was just that useless…”
Victor gave me a defeated look as if he knew exactly what I was talking about but couldn’t say anything. He smiled after a second before starting to chuckle which weirded me out. Fifteen years and I don’t ever remember him laughing at any point.
“God you hit the nail on the head there. Out of everyone in the village it had to be the laziest fucker to get light magic. I thought that would at least keep you out of trouble but then you tried spying on the mayor's daughter. That’s probably when he started looking for reasons to toss you out of the village.”
“I guess it’s not that important now. We wait to see what he’ll do about me coming back so let me finish what happened exactly. I died then realized I got put into this useless body so I started training hard while working on surviving.”
I proceeded to tell him the rest of my time outside the village. He got up and walked a few paces as if he was thinking about the best plan forwards.
“Hmmm. Here’s what we’re going to do. Act like you belong here. If he challenges right away that would be a huge mistake on his part and we’ll be able to deal with it quickly. I doubt he’ll have anyone openly attack you so if anyone comes and tries to threaten you to leave we’ll stop that… I don’t have anything I can do if he tries to bribe you to leave unfortunately… If he does that and you decide to leave the village I’m sorry we couldn’t work it out.”
With that somber news I left and went back to my old house. Thankfully no one moved in. Probably because it would be easier to build a new house than live in the falling apart full of garbage home my previous self left behind. Ahh, it looks like someone went through and took everything of value away and then shit on the floor.
I spent the remaining day cleaning. We laid low for a few days but nothing happened and Aki was getting antsy living in a shack barely bigger than the cottage in the forest. Keeping Aki from sexually assaulting the more attractive villagers was fairly difficult but meeting Victor’s son Lance was the first time I had to command her not to try and rape him.
Lance was the captain of the guard and was a year or two older than me. If he were to fight Aki I don’t think she would win but it would be close. She would be faster but Lance was trained since he was a child. He probably had higher level skills and a wider variety involving teamwork. It was more a break from normality than anything for Lance.
That being said, I don't think she’s very interested in fighting him. The way she had thrown herself at him made me uncomfortable. God his wife might actually try to kill Aki if she hears about this. Dwarves tend to not care too much about fidelity but they have a deep seeded hatred for goblins. Keeping Aki away from the town's blacksmith was the smart thing to do. A few more incidents happened the next few days but all quickly seemed to go away after me and Aki started working with the hunters.
We spent fifteen days gathering meat for winter before the first snowfall dropped. I had waited to go back to my job as an apprentice enchanter because I had Aki with me but she had agreed that if the local alchemist needed help she could assist her. The three days I spent with them were some of the worst I ever had.
Both women seemed to absolutely hate each other even though they worked together well. The old lady was one of the most knowledgeable in the village but didn’t have the manual dexterity to make certain potions anymore. With them working together they made far more potions than the alchemist could make by herself and Aki was gaining levels by leaps and bounds but the constant yelling made it so I went to bed with migraines every single night.
With both of them giving the go ahead that they didn’t need me around I started to work as an enchanter again. The second day of that Lance had shown up after work dragging Aki as she almost sexually assaulted someone on her way home. I took a deep breath and knew I needed to do something I didn’t want to do to keep this from happening ever again.
I was frustrated but it needed to be done. After Lance finished threatening me I made us dinner then we headed out. We headed to the town's inn and I asked for one of the ladies of the night. After talking and agreeing on a price we made it up to one of the rooms and she started undressing. Aki didn’t really understand what was going on until that point and she started to freak out.
I clamped down on her connection, holding her still. The prostitute was weirded out by this and looked a little skittish but she was being paid twice the amount a normal patron would pay. I slowly took off my clothes while Aki had started to grunt and fight hard against our connection. I hadn’t really attempted to use our connection since I had to for the first time other than as a warning and it was much easier than before.
I slowly made love to her trying to keep eye contact with Aki. Her body violently shook as she fought our connection. It didn’t take long for me to finish. The prostitute class is specifically designed to get customers in and out as fast as possible. We walked back home in silence as I kept the connection taught so she wouldn’t attack me.
We barely made it inside before I dropped my connection and she jumped on me. She practically ripped my clothes off me but she learned the value of clothing since coming to the village. She surprised me with what I thought was going to be her first blowjob but she only put my member in her mouth to get the juices off as she spit them onto the floor.
We had very rough sex after that as she made it clear she was dissatisfied by what happened. With both of us panting and covered in sweat even with snow falling outside I grabbed her by the shoulders.
“We’re a team! The feeling you had watching me have sex with her is how I feel when you try to have sex with other men. If you try to have sex with anyone but me again then we’ll have to repeat this without us having sex after I fuck the other girl.”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
She hated what was happening. The actions that were playing out in front of her felt like they were causing her physical damage and she didn’t know why. She grinded her teeth and kept making noises to scare the other woman away but after the first minute or so of them having sex she quickly stopped paying any attention to her.
Female goblins were rare but often formed groups with other goblins and they would often fight over each other's mates with the head goblin being able to have sex with all then the rest given one or two males as their own they wouldn’t have to share except with the head goblin. At least on paper that’s how it was supposed to work with most of the other goblins often killing each other or trying to sneakily have sex with each other's males. It wasn't a good place to learn how to behave in normal society.
All those emotions and patterns were ingrained in her DNA. That made what was happening even more infuriating for her. She was clearly the top goblin right now as she was the only goblin in their group so she couldn’t understand why this was happening. She just stayed livid the entire time it happened, often growling and saying MINE under her breath.
She didn’t understand until they had made it home and had sex. She wasn’t the leader he was. He could take as many women as he wanted and she couldn’t do anything about it. It stirred up emotions in her she didn’t know she had. She felt mad, jealous and frustrated about what happened which made sense to her. At the same time she felt even more secure for some reason.
They had lived in the village for weeks now and not one time before then did he have the smell of another woman on him. It let her know that as long as she could keep him exhausted that he would remain hers. All she had to do was not have sex with any of the other men in the village which was getting easier to do by the day…
She still plotted on how to get Lance by himself and unconscious though, she was a goblin after all.
