Frozen Memory feat. AntiRivet
🕑 Added 2024-09-10 14:00:00 +0000 UTCThis was another beast I had to iterate on many times before getting the feel right...both lyrically and instrumentally. BUT, after all I think it came out very cool(badum-tish), although leaning more into "nordic metal" than the cheerful and jolly side of Braum.
Special thanks to these exceptional individuals:
Lyrics and lead vocals by AntiRivet (you know him, you love him)
Backing vocals and Bouzouki by Lyv https://www.youtube.com/@Lyveriana
Additional backing vocals by: Martin Gavelin, Johan Forslund, and Alice Schiavoto
Additional guitars by Martin Floberg
Lyrics:
Frozen Memory (Braum)
We stood against the nightmares howling in the dark,
While the snow fell all around us and the cold set in our hearts,
We had seen the endless mountain breaking through the clouds beyond,
As the rivers piled up with our fallen brothers in that storm,
And we walked,
Oh, how we walked,
Our inner fires burned the vapors,
Oh, how we walked,
We would stop to mourn the fallen later,
Oh, how we walked,
In darkness, we were made to roam
Oh, how we walked,
For the land we’d call home,
For the land we’d call home,
We held against the shadows, like a barricade,
With no rhyme or reason, just the feeling that hell was on its way,
Our souls had formed the aegis, bringing shelter in its wake,
And the fallen were the memories that saved us from our fates,
We’re not our yesterdays; all those memories replayed,
And they carried us through to you,
Every single thing you see, every broken part of me,
Is a promise for tomorrow,
