DRAIN (New song!)
🕑 Added 2022-07-11 08:12:25 +0000 UTCDear Patrons,
You had to endure the entire June without a new Falconshield song, but don't be sad - here's a brand new track! :D
This song is about the new Elder dragon Malzeno from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. I did the instrumentals as usual, as well as some singing of the chorus and backing vocals. AntiRivet wrote most of the lyrics and performed the verses/bridges. I also, once again had the pleasure of having Martin Floberg's unmistakable shreds to play around with.
I hope you like the song, and August's release will be a collab with Rawb ;D Hope to see you around for that!

Lyrics:
(Verse)
Marked down with the tinge of disdain,
Until the teeth scrape, and latch unto the besieged,
Until the body breaks,
To go and take of the skin, and see what’s lying within,
They’re savoring the taste until the blood sprays,
Beyond the the soul awaits a bloody insight,
Until the souls converge beneath the moonlight,
While the hole is gaping and there’s no escaping,
As the world is breaking,
(Bridge)
Oh I would kill to get you near me
Pour me a drink right from your heart
In silence, blood will tell the story
(Fear, numb, cold)
I’ll shepherd you into the dark
(Chorus)
Drained down to a bloodstain,
Bled out through the night,
Drained down to a bloodstain,
I twist that knife,
(Verse)
Crash down, with a hungering seethe,
The red phosphate,
Inundated, they cling to every blood plate,
And swarm the fetid like flies,
They DRAIN the heart and the soul,
While leaving nothing alive,
Now you’re dead meat,
You lay awake in the thrall,
Behold the great feast,
Cast aside with the filthy into a red heap,
Laying blind in darkness,
While pulled apart to reap a vile harvest,
