Awaken (Elden Ring song)
🕑 Added 2022-03-01 15:30:36 +0000 UTCThis song has actually been in the works for almost 3 months now! I knew I had to write an Elden Ring track, the aesthetic and lore is so inspiring! Symphonic metal seemed like a good choice, even though engineering this genre is very difficult imo.
My attempt was to combine serene, beautiful moments with dissonant tension and epic...battles xD My main gripe with this production would be my lead. Ideally someone else would've sung it but finding Mr/Mrs Right for my tracks(within budget) is hard sometimes.
ANYWAY - hope you like it, feel free to comment and give feedback! Video and Spotify release on March 18th!
Please take extra care if you're a European brother/sister. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Lyrics:
–Verse1–
Shards from the shattering
Their light is beckoning
Nobles of honor
Twisted to horror and yet
to the gold they cling
Dragons on mortal wings
Kneel for the golden king
Tarnished and wretched
Death to the purebred
Bring down the reckoning
–Verse2–
Landscapes in gold and green
Shadows of what has been
Fires are burning
The kin returning
Dark, wicked and obscene
Cursed ones must reconvene
Foul children of the queen
snuff out her offspring
brandish the one ring
As the Lord of the lands between
–Chorus–
Between...us fester fear and hatred
Cracked what once was sacred
Peace and innocence was taken
Darkness reawaken
–Verse3–
Burden of mortal men
Die and be born again
Reach for the idol
Ending the cycle
Push through the boundless pain
Eyes that have lost their sheen
Gaze towards ends unclean
War of attrition
Follow ambition
In the Lands Between
