Breaking Point feat. Rena(New original song)
🕑 Added 2022-01-17 14:39:50 +0000 UTCStory time:
I accepted this commission from Lunari Valkyrie(She also commissioned the "Follow Your Heart" song) late summer of 2021. I was going to collab this with another producer who was going to make the instrumental while I wrote the lyrics and mixed it.
So this guy made a first draft and I wrote lyrics and a melody guide, sent it to Rena and she recorded her lead vocals.
So, then I needed some revisions to the instrumental and the stems(each instrument separately) so I could mix and finish it. But now the guy's COMPLETELY ghosting me. And I bumped him half a dozen times before I decided to recreate the instrumental from scratch and just do the damn thing myself. SMH
Online collaborations can be frustrating as hell...and unfortunately this is far from the first time I'm experiencing this :(
ANYWAY... the song is probably not going to hit the channel, so I'm sharing it with you guys here instead! Hope ya like it!

Lyrics:
There’s a struggle every day that’s real
We spread the light, but we’re burning out
When noone cares about the way you feel
I’ll listen to you while you scream and shout
C’mon we’re proud, we’re avatars
The crescent moon will heal your scars
C’mon come here the way you are
Accept yourself and you’ll go far
When the darkness keeps you under spell
Hold on for what the future brings
You’ll see daylight as you crack the shell
Like the cherry blossoms in the spring
C’mon we’re proud, we’re avatars
The crescent moon will heal your scars
C’mon come here the way you are
Accept yourself and you’ll go far
There’s a struggle every day, I know
You can’t hold on but then you can’t let go1
I know you’re tired and I know you’ve been running
But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel
I am what I am - nothing’s gonna change that
I’ve got my pride - nothing’s gonna break that
