The most busy shot yet
🕑 Added 2022-09-13 00:51:03 +0000 UTCThis little part will be taking longer than expected, I have BitterOne and Adeleine to finish here and then, 6 other puffballs running around. But on the bright side, that is the last thing I need to do before backgrounds and shading for this clip!
The others won't have as many frames to draw, since the camera will be focusing on only 4, leaving the others behind but animating them run is actually quite fun, it just takes about 2 hours for one character. I wouldn't be surprised if Adeleine would take a full day in total to animate. One shoe is 25x more intricate than The Company for sure!

I'm really pumped to draw illustrations of her now that the most busy shots of the scene are mostly done! She slowly became a sort of comfort character, somehow lol

I know, I swear the last time we saw an Adeleine illustration was...damn, I dunno how long, i imagine the bike scene was the closest as that was an animation but boy, we havent seen the green mom bean in such a while. speaking of which, drawing her again is on the tables for me as well

I really need to make more illustrations and record the process, the last Adeleine illustration was so long ago, I didn't realize we're already in mid september! I used to think I shouldn't overwhelm everyone with Adeleine but it's silly, she is the star of the show and a main reason everyone has been supporting of the series!

The goal of the series was to keep everything simple with a lot of still frames in the form of vignettes. I thought I could push things a bit after every episode but would've imagined something dynamic like this! I really like that smooth transition from Adeleine's perspective to The Company's and will do more in the future.

I started this shot last friday and I'm now halfway there! I should be able to finish Adeleine and BitterOne today, leaving The Company for wednesday and thursday!

Man, juggling those perspective changes is kinda wild. Really gets across the sheer size difference in a super-impressive way. Could you have pictured doing a shot like this when you started this series?
