So he left him without an honest explanation, just to prove to his mother that he's worthy? Surely he could have done that while being his boyfriend instead of making him feel rejected and lonely. Thai and Korean BLs have taken this up as a theme and I hate it. Socio-economics only matter in transactional relationships, which is the admission of his breakup in this series. The theme belittles their relationship.
