March Update Log: Reopening commissions and more
🕑 Added 2022-03-18 05:00:46 +0000 UTCHey there! This is an update log for March. There isn't too much to go over but there is some stuff I'd like to update you all on moving forward.
First off: Thank you all so much with your patience regarding work output. As a Fanbox patron of some other artists mysef, I know how disheartening it can be to not get a lot fo new content consistently, epsicecally with the Undyne animation to look forward too. I've been trying to clean up up my back log of WIPs to make up for that, as well as brainstorm new image sets and the like to make which I hope to share with all very soon, I've just generally had a lot on my plate to get through as of late. Thankfully my situaution has changed quite a bit since last month, so I should have a lot more free time to work on stuff here. I will be prioritising quality over quanity, but I should be able to relesse more consistently.
I've also been messing around with sound editing for animations, mostly just trying to line up sound bytes to make it sound good purely on it's own before trying to aplly that to actually visuals. I'm thinking of sharing some fun little audio tracks I've made as a result of this. I likey won't release these publically since they are just audio tests, but you guys might like them.
Second Point: Commissions
I'm at a juncture where I'll be able reopen commissions soon. For real this time lol.
Witht hat in mind, I have come up with a way to give out discounts on comms to fanbox supporters. This is subject to change depedning on how it turns out, but the current idea is this:
1$ Tiers: 10% Discount on comms
5$ Tiers: Have the cost of 1 extra character removed from comms involving more that one character. If it's single character, then the 1$ Tier benefit applies.
10$ Tiers: 35% Discount on comms
20$ Tiers: Have the cost of 1 extra character removed from comms involving more that one character + 35% Discount
Again these are subject to change overtime, but this is the current plan. Hopefully it makes sense.
Third Point: Future animations and projects
I decided a while ago I was gonna make 2022 the year I would expand working with OCs more, both my own and others, so all forseeable future animations i have planned will be based around that. With that in mind, once I complete the Undyne animation and open up idea submissions for future animations, try to focus on subbitting non-OC characters like Undyne, I already have more than a few plans for those, including some pretty recognizable faces. The OC animatons will also be on the longer side, so submitted aniamtions will likely just be simple 1 scene loops if chosen.
Fourth Point: Streaming and Future Voting
In case you didn't know, I have a picarto account I stream on sometimes at https://picarto.tv/BloxWastesYourTime. I also stream on Pixiv at https://sketch.pixiv.net/@tai-zuu. Be sure to follow me there if you ever want to see how I go about actually drawing my work. also I'll be opening up another poll soon regarding what non-animated project to work on next and have some WIPs to follow suit, so if you're interested in that and you're not already, make sure to subscribe to the $10 tier or above to have your voice heard!
Til then!
