Taking a break again

I'm embarrassed that It's come to this again, but...
(trigger warning: gonna talk about tooth things)
Shortly after my last post, my tooth pain flared up again. What's that? Didn't I get that taken care of in August, you ask? Well you'd be right, if I didn't let my anxiety get the best of me.
To make a long story very short: during my initial appointment with the surgeon, I was told some startling things, and I kind of just shut down mentally. I never had any procedures done.
I DID however finally get the CT scan they requested in December. (about 4.5 months later)
My pain is almost gone again (which is why I feel good enough to post this), but I'm so tired of all this constantly being in the back of my mind that I don't think much can stop me from just getting it over with this time.
I have an appointment on Tuesday to discuss the scan, and hopefully it won't be much longer until I can get this over with. It may not sound it, but I'm actually pretty optimistic at this point. I can't wait to finish this stupid chapter in my life, that I myself made longer than it had to be.
I don't want to go into too many details as I don't want to trigger anyone's anxiety or anything, but I'll probably provide more details if I'm asked about it on discord. Other than that: I'm gonna peace out for a while
