Comm - I'm Not an Evil Sorceress - Belinda
🕑 Added 2021-07-20 12:20:45 +0000 UTCA character design commission for https://www.furaffinity.net/user/e5111/, featuring Belinda, from the commissioner's original story I'm Not an Evil Sorceress.
Story Synopsis:
Princess Adalind is miserable. She's caught in an arranged marriage, kept apart from the woman she loves, and can't even study magic openly for fear of being branded a wicked enchantress. But her problems reach a whole new level when she runs afoul of the Dark Sorceress, Phaedra, who is everything Adalind has vowed never to be. As she finds herself being pulled under the witch's spell, though, she has to wonder, is being a plaything of the Dark Sorceress really so bad? And could it be that Phaedra isn't all her reputation says she is?
Character Introduction:
You can read the serialized story here on Archive of Our Own: https://archiveofourown.org/works/28941561 or here of Furaffinity: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40243978/"Belinda is the apprentice of the Dark Sorceress, Phaedra. Once an ordinary human girl from a small, insignificant village, she is now a powerful witch-in-training who takes the form of a naga, using her venom to cast curses and other enchantments."-------------Val's Notes: For Belinda, we based her design off of that of the King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah), to give her a distinctive appearance and reflect some of her abilities, giving her a simple hairstyle and clothing that fit with her personality.-------------
