Ahh its finally over, thinking about the older arcs like Saskue retrival feels like it was only a few month ago but man its been soo long. What a ride its was, loved the input you were giving espically when its culturally related cause you know alot more about it then us, so that was always appreciated. As some of the others said, the final Naruto movie (Boruto Naruto the movie) is not just recaped in the Boruto anime but even retconned, which makes watching not really necessary but I personally still like it alot and would always recommend it but im not sad if you skip it ig.' When it comes to the Boruto filler its really tough honestly, yes there is a manga canon but the anime canon eps gives so much more exposition to the world and is meant to build on the manga in a meaningful way. I find it hard to explain myself but this reddit post is a pretty good summary. Maybe you can make a decision based on that. I would say you can skip out on the Boruto movie, the anime goes into that arc and is actually a little different from the movie so it can get a little confusing. So I would just go with the anime

What. A. Journey. My favorite show of all time. There is not much I wouldn't do to be able to watch it for the first time once again. I really did cherish these reactions because they provided more than what the show could alone. As an American with little knowledge of Japanese culture/media, these reactions provided me insight in that sense that the show didn't on its own. As much as we joke about the yaps, they do provide a lot of value and ultimately kept me coming back for each drop. Whether they were about Naruto theories, how you hate Zabuza, international politics, or how much you love Zabuza, they all provided something. What's really crazy is I feel like I just wrote a eulogy. Such a bittersweet moment. I'm excited for Boruto in the coming months, and I feel like you will enjoy it as well! Also, can't wait for Death Note, the completion of FMAB, and of course Bleach TYBW Cour 4 next year!!!

It's over; I can't believe we went through both Shippuden and Hunter x Hunter this year. Also, it's funny how it lined up with exactly 100 posts. For Boruto, the anime is on hiatus and has adapted all pre-timeskip arcs except for the last one. The anime sometimes takes liberties when adapting the manga, but for the most part, the manga canon episodes are one-to-one. Tbh I think that after ur done with the manga canon episodes, if u still want to continue the series, I'd start from chapter 1 since the anime changes some stuff/characterization that doesn't age well later on , but it's up to you (pre-timeskip manga is 80 chapters/40pages). Also the manga and anime retcon the Boruto movie and adapt it differently, so it's up to you if u want to watch it but it's not canon anymore. I think this reddit post does a good job of categorizing the arcs (it does have arc names if u consider that spoiler then u might not wanna go through it). The only thing Id suggest is to watch episode 1 at least most of it's not in the manga, but it introduces stuff nicely. Anyways rambling over but why is it Shift+Enter to make paragraph space on patreon had me feeling stupid for a minute.
