Blair Witch hands down. People complain about motion sickness which I can understand. As far as found footage, this is so great because of the way it was filmed. These actors really were scared by the unknown things the producers were doing. Whenever I've gone camping I've heard noises in the forest and that freaks me out enough let alone waking up to bizarre signs, etc.. Nothing else comes close because they're mostly scripted and less scary to me

I've been watching the kowasugi movies, they are all free on YouTube and they are silly campy Japanese horror films but I've been really enjoying them, they aren't too scary for me and the effects are campy but FUN. I get excited watching them and the characters are so over the top that I love making fun of them.

I watched The Blair Witch Project wayyy too young but loved it, still holds a special place in my heart to this day. Kind of hate how they ruined it a bit in the remake. Was much scarier not knowing if the monster was real or not.
