"Neverland" Mermaid Tail

Added the child version that can be used with the Expanded Mermaids mod. Make sure to update the mod before using this!
Been working on this one for a while and it's finally ready!
I started this as practice for my CAS skills, but I liked it so much that I decided to turn it into an official piece of CC. This mermaid tail, especially the first swatch, is inspired by the mermaids from the original Peter Pan and their soft blue tails.
It's available for feminine and masculine frames, Teen-Elder. I plan to convert it for children as well and will be adding it to the list of tail options for them in my Expanded Mermaids mod! :)

I’m trying to be patient, but man, I check this mod daily hoping for the child conversions. 😭 I know that Spinning Plumbob has a lot going on, so I definitely don’t want to come across as if I’m rushing anything. Just so looking forward to what comes next!

A mermaid lagoon lot trait for the Mua Pel’Am neighborhood would be amazing! That and being able to do more with singing since child merfolk can also max the singing skill. I can imagine merfolk families gathering on a lot. One of the strong elements of merfolk lore in popular stories involve a family dynamic. I know that the Disney Little Mermaid is the heaviest on the family dynamic, but it’s not the only merfolk story with a family dynamic. Agnete and the Merman is a statue in Copenhagen, Denmark that has a story about a maiden that joined her merman husband in the sea and had seven sons. The Fisherman and the Merman from Iceland… Actually most of the notable merfolk stories featuring a merman are Scandinavian in origin. I could go on, but a family element is important to merfolk… Would love it if parents could teach their merchildren to swim like them after coaching them on swimming.

Would absolutely love to see an update to the expanded mermaid mod. There is a mod that adds a lot trait called “mermaid lagoon.” The biggest problem I noticed with that lot trait was that it caused the game to create new merfolk, mermaids and mermen. Almost all the townies that spawned on lot were merfolk. If a lot trait is added, there are a lot of cool things you can do with that, but somehow, you need to find a way to prevent every single sim the game generates every 12 sim hours from being a mer. MCCC could potentially help, but it doesn’t solve the problem. As much as I love merfolk in my game, I really don’t want a 100 random townie merfolk being generated. I think you could look at the teen neighborhood lot trait to refine a lot trait for merfolk.

I absolutely love this tail, I would forever watch the mermaid scene from Peter Pan over and over as a child, thank you so much. I've been enjoying your mods in my game for a while now and you've really improved on my absolute favourite occult - I also look forward to this tail style being added to Expanded Mermaids for younger sims. Does this mean you're planning another big update to the mod at some point in the future? I'd love to have a lagoon/grotto type lot where my merfolk would autonomously come and bask in their fins (and also use your basking rock item) and it would be so amazing if a future update would support such an action (perhaps through a lot trait?), although not sure if the coding would actually enable this? I have been having so much fun with the Fairies vs Witches update :)

Idk what you did with the tail, but it works really well with these cc scales i have. Doesn't go missing on R fin like other tails. Thank you!!! It's my new favorite.
