Warlord's Warfists - Magic Item
🕑 Added 2023-11-09 11:58:48 +0000 UTCπβοΈπ Crafted in the forges of a warlord who reigned over a tumultuous realm, the Warlord's Warfists were not the exclusive trappings of one but the standard of his elite guard. Each pair was forged with a dual purpose: to symbolize the might of the army and to transform each soldier into a devastating force on the battlefield. The warlord, a skilled smith in his own right, is said to have imbued these gauntlets with a fragment of his unyielding spirit, ensuring that even in his absence, his warriors would fight with the ferocity and precision that his legend was built upon.
Passed down through the ranks and bearing the scars of countless battles, these gauntlets have become synonymous with the strength and unity of a force that once held dominion over vast lands. To don a pair is to become part of a legacy of warriors who fought not just with their hands, but with the heart of their indomitable leader guiding their fists. πβοΈπ

Warlord's Warfists
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)
These formidable gauntlets are masterfully crafted, the dark leather complemented by red steel, with menacing spikes protruding from each knuckle. Ancient symbols are etched into the metal, signifying victories and conquests of old.
While you wear these gauntlets, your unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. Additionally, your unarmed strikes with these gauntlets deal an additional 1d4 piercing damage due to the spikes on the knuckles.
Knockout Blow. Once per long rest, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike while wearing these gauntlets, you can attempt to knock the creature out. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be stunned until the end of your next turn.
