It’s not forever…

“Don’t be shy, lift up your dress so Mommy’s friends can see…”
“Is that a diaper?”
“Yeah! See, we’ve been working so hard on all that potty training haven’t we, Sweetie. But bless her, it’s proving to be just a tiny bit too hard at the moment, and I was getting so sick of mopping up little puddles and cleaning wet sheets that we both decided that this would be for the best… didn’t we, Honey?”
The girl holding up the hem of her dress didn’t exactly agree, she let out a little embarrassed squeal. Blushing a deep red from the embarrassment. Her mom carried on taking, ignoring how much she wanted to cover her diaper up again.
“It’s not forever, hopefully! I’m sure she’ll manage it eventually. I don’t want to waste all that money on the plastic potty I bought!” She pointed to a pink and sparkly potty that sat in the corner of the room.
“I’m sure she’ll get the hand of it soon!”
