“Well, Princess…” laughed her Daddy as he gently cupped his hand over the front of her diaper. Giving it a little squeeze in his hand as she wriggled in embarrassment.
“You were dry, about thirty seconds ago! But this diaper seems to be getting warmer and a little squishier. Didn’t you know you were going potty? Didn’t you notice?”
She shook her head and tried to hide behind her own hands. Letting out a few little sniffles as tears began to form in her eyes.
“Shush shush, it’s okay! Don’t worry about it, Daddy knows that you can’t always help when you have your accidents. Daddy will always be here to make sure your looked after, okay? Please don’t cry honey!”
“So… umm will you change me? Please” she muttered from behind her hands.
“Change you? After one little puddle? I think there’s plenty of room in that diaper for now. You just carry on playing!”
