hmmmm It seems like the reference one is quite a bit more popular, but I will try and see whether I can make a compromise

tbh both versions are amazing and while i completely understand why most prefer the reference style over the new ones, i actually enjoy how styled these solo portraits are! the dynamics and stylization *chef kiss*. THOUGH, i think it’d be a good idea to keep doing reference pages if/when you add more characters to the AU that don’t have them already :3

Both are awesome but I like the reference more since you can get more details done

I like the reference style because of the detail but I feel like that is an intro to a character. I love seeing your drawings because of your stylization for known characters, so if I had to choose I would say I like the ones in this post more. Simply because I get to enjoy your beautiful drawings.

Tbh I always feel like the text makes it a lot more complex - even though it doesn't mean anything, plus I can ofc get across a lot more with all the expressions and weapons (even though most demons ofc don't use weapons like slayers)

Yeah when I was almost done with these I started loosing motivation a little too bc I didn't feel like it came across as well as the ^reference one... Thanks for confirming ^^

They are both awesome, but I like the extra details in the reference styles.
