* * *
You held your breath, eyes closed. Waiting for what was coming. And then you waited a bit more. Then your hypnotist laughed. You opened your eyes as they spoke. “Well, toy? What are you waiting for?” The looked at you, expectantly. You blushed.
“Well, you k- ” You stopped yourself. They had told you off before for not being direct. “I was waiting for you to bring me into trance.”
They smiled. “Well done for using your words properly, toy.” They brushed their hand down your cheek, gently.
“And I’d suggest not building it up so much in your mind. You’ve been in trance with me before, and, well, though I know you love it…” They smirked as they recalled something. “You’re hardly going to make it easier to get there if you get too inside your own head about it.”
Their hand grasped your chin, pulling your gaze up to meet theirs. “No, instead, you should get outside of your head. Focus on something else. Any ideas, toy?”
You stammered, stuttering as the full force of their gaze hit you. They chuckled.
“No? Well, you certainly seem to be going in the right direction. That’s it, toy. Keep staring into my eyes. That’s right. You don’t need to anticipate. You don’t need to think about what’s coming next. You can just sink into my eyes for a while, can’t you? Good puppet.”
