Rather then seeing it as "no one else knows about it so I won't mention it". Maybe take a risk now and again, you have a large fan base and that sort of exposure for some things could either give it a limelight or potentially even create a little cult sub community amongst your fans. I get you got to think about the algorithms of YouTube and don't want to alienate the audience but keep it open as an option in your mind. For some things it could be something that turns out to be a really cool niche you find yourself leading or at the very least let you stand out as someone covering interesting topics that go outside the box a bit.

I saw the same comment wood, your not going crazy and you are totally right. "Spreading misinformation" has just become a buzz phrase that seems to have lost its meaning, its just a way to put a negative tone to the point.
