New Ambience: Rebuilding
🕑 Added 2024-05-15 17:03:53 +0000 UTCGreetings Patrons,
After a terrible attack, mystical calamity, storm, or quake, a town gathers for repairs. That's the idea behind this track. It's about positivity in the face of adversity. It's about a community that rolls up its sleeves and gets down to it.
The music here is quite positive. In fact, it could really be used as a standard adventuring, travel, or exposition track. It flows and meanders and always gets back home. There's a Celtic harp, mixed with a traditional orchestral harp as the backbone. Strings and woodwinds do the heavy lifting. There's just enough percussion to make a point.
The ambience is designed around a wrecked town square. People on ladders mend roofs, and horse-drawn carriages carry supplies and remove debris. Have I mentioned that it's overwhelmingly positive? Except for the fact that something terrible has just happened.
This track is currently in Patreon sneak-peek mode, so I've included the mixed version (live on the site next week) as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions here. Additionally, I created 2 'less activity' versions which remove the construction and cleaning sounds and leave you with a sparsely populated town square.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim

Tim this is awesome. Do you take requests? I have been mulling over an idea of a nice track but wasn’t sure

This could not have come at a better time for me!! I unleashed an onslaught of monsters on the city my PCs have been investigating during our game this past weekend. Now I know exactly what track to use for next session when the dust settles. 😂 Thanks!

I love this track, definitely going to be useful for my campaign this week! Out of curiosity, if it's not impolite to ask, how do you make these tracks?
