The Smolest Garden
🕑 Added 2023-03-22 17:47:18 +0000 UTCSmol Kobold Garden has been off to a great start, what you see here is the main garden! The big structure there is just a big tree, I hope to have its roots look like it's spreading out more through the textures but I'm just using some placeholder textures for now. I've also pretty much turned off all unitys features while using low res textures and blob shadows to better emulate that n64/psx era aesthetic.
I wanted to capture the Yoshi's Island menu vibe with the garden rotating while your kobolds walk about. Starting up the game zooms the camera in so you can pan around and better interact with your bolds.
I'm also thinking through the shop where not only can buy items for your bolds or decorate the garden with coins earned from minigames, but also be able to buy extra rings of land that expand the garden outwards for maximum amount of kobold.

Not a bad idea, have been thinking of doing something with those sides.

If you want to be creative with the trees roots, you could arrange them to sorta act as a boarder/barrier near the islands edges to kinda justify any invisible walls used to keep you and your kobolds from falling off?
