Update 5: Virtualbolds!
🕑 Added 2018-04-06 12:12:53 +0000 UTC Hello y'all! These are the first steps in laying down the foundations for VR! My goal for this is to make the game just as playable as it would be in regular desktop mode. If you can pet and hold a Kobold in the regular game, you should be able to in VR without it being too different. Hope it adds a super immersive layer to the game while still being fully playable from start to finish.I'll have more updates soon!

I found it to be pretty complicated at first but the main headsets are the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. They're pretty similar but the Rift currently has better controllers and is more affordable. I opted for the Vive as it has better tracking and I'm a huge fan of Valves and less so of Facebook but that's just me, and the Vive is getting these things called knuckle controllers sometime in fall to compete with the Rifts controllers too. There are also Mixed-reality headsets that seem much more affordable then either depending on what version you get and hear lots of great things on the Samsung Odyssey version if you're interested but I haven't looked into them to judge. There is also the Vive Pro but you're looking at 1k+ for both the headset and controllers on pretty minor improvements over the original Vive. Feel like you can't really go terribly wrong with whichever you choose but I've been loving the Vive so far and highly recommend. Favorite game is Super Hot too, it's super immersive.
