But even in the field, as she sprang off of trees, looping Crescent over branches to launch herself in the air to scout, it was when she was with her husband—her husband—when she felt most alive. And as she pounced upon him with just as much passion as she had for him as a younger girl, back before she ever realized that Salem could be defeated, Ruby truly felt the joys of being a Huntress.
Peppering him with playful kisses, Ruby latched on tight as he laughed and tried to fight her off, but, of course, to no avail. She was Ruby Rose, the Grimm Reaper, and nobody could withstand an assault from her, whether it be a whirl of blades or a hail of affection!
“Ruby, Ruby!” he cried, in between kisses, “We’re on a mission!”
“That’s why, mwah, I’m getting my kisses in!” she replied, “Cause I, mwah, no how picky you are about me kissing you in battle!”
He suddenly caught her lips with his own and swung her down in a dip that threw her off her rhythm. Caught in the swoon, Ruby couldn’t do anything but feel herself get swept away by the love of her life as he met her passion with his own. For Ruby, who had always dreamed of a fairytale heroism when she first came to Beacon, this was… almost impossible to believe was real.
They were Huntsmen, together, a husband-and-wife duo who fought evil wherever they found it, fearlessly plunging into the darkness and driving it back… and they looked real good while doing it! Jaune in his armor, Ruby in her signature cloak, together, they were the image of what a Huntsman and Huntress could be. If Ruby had been told on her first day at Beacon she and the boy who helped her up would one day be not only husband and wife, but heroes? Well… she actually would have believed it. Been really excited for it, too!
As Jaune pulled her back up and spun her around, he gave her a playfully chastising look as he continued. “Well, even if there’s nothing much that should threaten us out here, carelessness is an unacceptable risk, so, what’d you scout?”
“Nothing!” she cheered, “Like I told you: total milk run!”
There was less demand for Huntsmen now that Salem’s reign had ended. The Grimm were still a presence in the world, and they were no less dangerous where they could be found, but their numbers had been considerably reduced. And a mission in the Emerald Forest was mostly to account for smaller Beacon classes who couldn’t cover as much ground as they used to. Plus… Oscar wasn’t above sending a little work their way. He might have inherited the knowledge of his predecessors, but he was still undeniably Oscar, their friend, not someone subsumed into Ozma’s incarnations.
“Well,” Jaune gave her a grin, unable to keep up his stern, businesslike persona when she was at her most chipper, “Let’s go find someone to fight, then!”
With a spring in her step, Ruby ventured out with her husband to find any stray Grimm, any wandering packs, or, if they were lucky, an entire nest for them to clear out. Ruby had been itching for some action, and even though she’d love to just have a fun day in the woods with her husband on a milk-run mission, she also enjoyed when the two of them got to break out their skills and fight, side by side.
But… it was looking like it was going to be the former rather than the latter. Which was good, in its own way… she could spend the time noting how handsome Jaune looked when he was so serious. His sword and shield at the ready, his eyes peeled for action… though Ruby was of the opinion that he’d look even better without his armor… or a shirt. Mmmmm, yep, Ruby could like-
“Ruby!” her husband’s voice jolted her from her fantasies, “Look alive, we’ve got company.”
Ruby snapped into action, Crescent in hand, and ready to brawl. And they had plenty to get a workout on.
“Eight Beowulfs, two Alphas, three Ursa coming in as backup,” Jaune barked, his tactical acuity having sharpened in their years of adventures together.
“Easy,” Ruby replied with a cocky grin. As her husband—her husband!—charged in at the first Alpha, Ruby unsheathed the final member of their relationship, gave Crescent a kiss on the blade, and then went to work.
She mastered her Semblance as well as she had mastered the scythe, and separating Grimm from their constituent parts was a second language as she became a red streak or rose petals and whirling death, her blades hacking and slicing through Grimm that were simply too slow, too weak to stand up to the Rose-Arc duo. Really, this was nothing, so Ruby took her time—yes, the irony of “taking her time” while moving as a whoosh of rose petals was not lost on her, thank you Blake—to make this special. Trick shots, quick cuts, setting goals for herself. Really, it was a shame that there were only a dozen foes for the two of them to scythe down.
But she wasn’t going to let that get her down. As Jaune took on the Ursa and Ruby left the Beowulfs in shreds, she launched forward just in time for Jaune to decapitate the last of the Ursa… so Ruby changed her charge from being about slashing apart a Grimm and instead turned it into throwing her arms around her husband and pulling him into a deep kiss!
She had so much momentum coming out of her Semblance that she basically spun around him twice over, but Jaune was used to getting hit with a shower of kisses coming at him at a hundred miles per hour, and barely even objected as she-
“Ruby!” Jaune gasped, “I don’t think we got all of-”
She silenced him with a kiss, long and lusty, before breaking it and staring into his gorgeously blue eyes. “That’s what makes it so hot,” she told him, her voice a hot whisper.
Jaune groaned—he knew what was coming now, and as much as the sensible side of him didn’t want this… he didn’t really fight back as Ruby pushed him down and straddled him, kissing his face, his lips, his neck, his shoulders, absolutely anywhere she could plant a kiss as she ground herself against his rapidly-swelling dick, tenting in his pants.
Fighting was such a turn on to Ruby. It might have been the product of coming into her sexual awakening and falling in love with Jaune while on the battlefield. But in the war against Salem, they found little time to relax and decompress, and instead, learned to lean on each other in whatever moments they could. Moments of reassurance, moments of desperate comfort, learning to live with the knowledge that tomorrow might be your last… it was in those moments that Ruby had forged her relationship with Jaune. Their first time had been on the mix of the adrenaline high and closeness to death that had come after a rough fight where Ruby had very nearly been killed. And every time since then, they were never far enough from danger for either of them to truly feel relaxed. So in peacetime, even as infinitely preferable as it was, she still associated moments of excitement with sex… and vice versa.
She was never more aroused than when she had Crescent in her hand, and being outside their bedroom meant Jaune’s rule against bringing weapons to bed wasn’t in effect. Hoisting her blade high, she used her other hand, with Jaune’s assistance, to swiftly liberate the both of them from their pants. Practical clothing for this kind of work, but Ruby was really coming to miss skirts for quick moments like these.
But they were freed of their restrictive garments, or as free of them as was necessary for Jaune to see how turned on Ruby was and for Ruby… to see that Jaune’s objections might not be entirely sincere. His cock was standing proudly at attention, showing its full and honest appreciation for a bout of woods sex with her.
Giving her husband a smirk, he interrupted before she could even say anything. “I know...” he groaned, “But… fuck, Ruby, you’re hot as hell and doing it out here-”
“The danger makes it even better,” she whispered, feeling that mad giggle that always came to her when she was feeling truly alive.
“It’s insaaaaaaane...” Jaune moaned as Ruby’s pussy delivered her counter-argument.
Riding Jaune was always a pleasure. He was so… so big, his thick cock pushing its way up inside her, and yet, he was still that tender sweetheart she’d met her first year at Beacon, always so concerned for her own well being. And in the bedroom, that meant that Jaune wasn’t satisfied unless she was satisfied! Even here, even out in the woods, where Jaune was more than a little concerned about the sanity of this, he still pounded her, his hands on her hips to drive her down deeper on his cock! Ruby was riding high on the adrenaline of a recent fight and the high risk of a Grimm attack, so she was primed to really enjoy this as her husband gave her the good, hard dicking she’d been craving! Her fingers tightened around Crescent’s shaft as she rose and fell, feeling the tip of his dick practically reach her womb with every giddy plunge!
Oh, and oh, that Jaune still had his first-year sweetness and she still had that wide-eyed optimism that had defined her as a Beacon student, even as they had grown up so much—and she wasn’t that innocent little girl anymore! She loved being all grown up, exploring the joys of her sexual identity right besides her beloved. She loved this kind of exhibitionism, being out in the woods, risking being discovered, and not by people, no. A bloodthirsty, slavering Grimm might see her, all- all h-helpless and d-defenseless, so d-distracted by her husband’s dick plowing her that she c-couldn’t even- oh fuck, oh fuck- oh fuuuuuu-
She saw her husband’s eyes go wide, their connection, long forged at Beacon, telling her everything she needed to know without a word as she turned, still impaled on Jaune’s mighty spear, swinging Crescent in a single, fluid motion and scything down a Beowulf mid-pounce. She bisected the monster, a gush of black Grimmstuff splattering her as the twist of her pussy around Jaune’s cock struck her exactly where she needed it. Mingled with the death-howl of the Beowulf, Ruby shrieked her climax, a loud and explosive cry of satisfaction.
Bathed in black Grimmstuff, she turned back towards her hubby, planting both hands flat on his chest as she gave him a wild, orgasmic grin. She surely must look like some kind of madwoman, the look of a woman in love!
“You-” Jaune panted, his dick still pumping away into her, “You c-crazy- psycho- bitch!”
Ohhhhhh, fuck! Now Jaune was really giving it to her! His fingers sank in deep on her hips, his dick slamming her so hard, it was like it was trying to reach her womb, and her already frazzled mind coming down from her climax
“Oh- oh!” she cried, “Oh, you’re right, you’re so right! I am fucking crazy! I’m you’re crazy bitch!”
“Out of your mind!” he barked
“Completely depraved!” she squealed.
“I should teach you a fucking lesson!” he growled.
“Do it!” she cried, “Do it, t-teach me a lesson, do it do it DO IT!”
“I FUCKING WILL YOU PSYCHO!” he bellowed, punctuating his cry by slamming her down on him and releasing his seed deep into her. Ruby threw her head back and howled once more in joy, feeling that lovely, sticky warmth simply bloom within her. Ah, it was good, it was so good! Hearing Jaune moan as he pumped shot after shot right into her womb, indulging all her craziness because the two of them had the most amazing sex. Gods, she loved him, loved him, loved him, and she was so lucky to have-
“Ummmm…”
Ruby whirled to see… a team of students. Four of them, looking as wide eyed and innocent as she once looked… though this group was probably particularly wide eyed for coming across two of Remnant’s greatest heroes, one balls deep in the other, just after enjoying a titanic climax in Grimm-infested woods. Three of them had their jaws hanging open while their leader, the tall girl with fox ears who’d drawn their attention, seemed to be trying to think of what to say to that.
Easing herself up off of Jaune—and enjoying the feeling of his sticky load slowly oozing from her slit and dripping down her leg—Ruby just threw on a winning smile.
“Hey kids!” she said, as though they hadn’t walked in on two of Remnant’s greatest champions rocking each other’s world right in the middle of a Grimm-infested wood, “Great to see you out here! You kids ready to hunt some Grimm?”
