Domino To The Rescue
🕑 Added 2023-05-07 18:36:41 +0000 UTCAs one of the youngest members of Furrville's Junior Firefighter League, Domino Dalmatian and his fellow scouts play an important part in helping the city's residents. Domino in particular has a talent for saving small critters who get stuck in trees. No ladder needed for this pup. Who would have ever guessed that a dog could be so good at climbing trees?
Though he is twelve years old, Domino still has trouble keeping his pants dry and letting go of some "little pup" habits and tendencies. It's okay though. Domino is unashamed and still full of pride for what he does and who he is. You would think the other kids would tease him for still wearing baby diapers, but they don't. Domino has earned their respect due to his good deeds and extraordinary climbing skills. This pup may still be in diapers for a while, but he is well on his way to becoming one of Furrville's brightest and most talented future firefighters.

Thanks Kirito. I really enjoyed working on this one.
Amazing lightning job!! And the Chara design and description is super adorable! I would love to be his friend and share his habits!
LOL, Domino likes making new friends. At some point I would really like to use some of these characters in a different story of there own that I have been brewing, but I will have to see how that goes and how much Patreon grows. Can't do it yet since I am doing so many YCHs and other things. I am happy you like the outfit and all of the little details/lighting. Doing pieces like this are the most fun for me. They take a lot of time to do though. (This one took me about 18 hours to do. Been working on it since Friday evening) But, its really worth it in the end.
Thanks Maxi! I love doing outdoor compositions like this so I can play with the lighting. Its one of my favorite parts of the whole process. I am also glad you like the perspective. I went outside of my normal comfort zone on this one since I always tend to draw landscapes and more formally cropped stuff. I will have to start playing with perspectives more often for these Sunday artworks since I tend to spend more time on them anyway.
Domino is such a brave and cool pup. And with all these firefighting experiences, he sure has some very interesting stories to share. Is he open to making new friends? I'd love to partner up with him during his adventures. Also, I'm loving all the details here, like the matching clothing and the little diaper peekage, but the lighting in here is simply incredible. That shiny tag, the tree's shadows, and even the light-up shoes. And don't get me started on that sweet little story.
Such a cute perspective and amazing lighting
