Mav whined through his pacifier as Daddy closed and latched the crib gate.
He had played with fire. He had tried to scamper away after Daddy checked his diaper and started ushering him toward the changing table. He thought he could get away, but Daddy was too quick. He grabbed Mav by the arm, gave him two quick swats on the rear, then dragged him over to the crib and forced him inside. Now Mav was trapped, diaper loaded and smelling worse and worse with each passing minute.
Disobedience never pays.
