I have been working non-stop on the next release, which I aim to release near the end of this month. I'll update the date as we get closer to the end of the month!
This next release I'm focusing more on finishing some of the functionalities that already have placeholders in the game, balancing, a lot more lewd content and implementing some new mechanics. This time around I'm not touching the combat system/adding missions or enemies since time will not allow it.
Done:
New character! Noa a new engineer!
Milia animated sex scene #1 and #2!
Fixed Karla card game on mess hall
Balance for all rooms regarding resource output and wages
Pamela now appears on the 5 day (tutorial needs to be completed)
All characters have now a blink animation! It gives a bit more life to the characters, I'm really happy with the end result
Ongoing:
Pamela most voted sex scene, sent it back for revision waiting on new version, but boy does it look hot
CONTRACTS! I'm implementing a new mechanic, where you will have access to weekly contracts that you can choose to complete in exchange for rewards. Instead of having a guild buy random resources every day, you will have in the beginning of the week the missions available to you so you can plan accordingly which resource type to invest your time in, in order to profit. You can for example pick up a contract that gives you 500 coins in exchange for 50 milk and 10 alien hide. You can also buy gems/food contracts in exchange for coin.
On that regard, there will be new resources introduced, like alien hide, among others. Some of them will be rewards from doing missions, others you will have to produce them on the ship. New UI showing your resources will also be implemented to show what you currently possess
SKINS! One of the things I've teased in the last build and I'm now working on. It will take some time to implement all, so maybe in this next release, only skins for the patreon exclusive characters will be available, but my goal is to have them for all characters.
Writing all the talk/love/lust dialogues scenes(and accordingly lewd scenes). This is for sure the most time consuming thing for this release
Working also on Sierra, Pamela and Milia card game for the mess hall
To be done and not yet started:
New UI for buying things(attack units, cryo chamber, etc). I want it to be more compact and feel less clunky. There is currently a lot of dead space on the screen, I want it to look more clean overall.
Noa's NESI. I know a lot of you want this, it will also be on this next release!
Implementing the previously mentioned new resources. I need to update also the mission previews to show what kind of resources are attainable
As you can see there is a lot coming for the next release!
There will be one more devlog before the next release(probably next week) and I'll schedule an official release date then!

I'm noticing an issue where the sprites for all of the patreon exclusive characters are not appearing in game. The link to download version 1.7a is also not working. I use the mac version, so any help would be appreciated

This update is looking even better than expected. The skins look absolutely gorgeous; the contracts sound like an excellent way of prompting the player to set objectives for themselves; the resource system will likely be a game-changer; and I'm really looking forward to the card games and new dialogue. And Noa, of course. :P Good luck!
