Helixftr 9.9.2024 End of the Road Update
🕑 Added 2024-09-09 20:20:26 +0000 UTCHELLO!
Howdy y'all! For any of you that didn't catch the last update I posted here, I am officially calling it quits with Helixftr and Flash and moving on to greater horizons in the exciting world of 3D. What this means is that I'm going to go ahead and do a final release of all the stuff I've got- including the working files for all of my own personal creations, so that anyone wanting to look into and learn from my work can do so if they so choose.
Download for the last Helixftr Update:

The working Helixftr .FLA files are not to be monetized, and are being released for educational purposes. Do not pass of my work as your own. Modifications or adjustments are ok as long as you credit me.
ABOUT THE UPDATE:
I think the last few things I worked on were Harrien, a two-legged bird with a unique aggression system, a horse that was a code test, and the guest character Kusarii, who is owned by https://x.com/KusariiBites ! None of these characters are finished.
All of my will to work in 2D and Flash in general has kinda been crushed under the heel; too many people pestering me about Helixftr when I'm very clearly trying to move onto other things and get my skills back up to a point where I can do in 3D what I was doing in 2D. At a certain point, I've just grown tired of handling it.
ABOUT THE WORKING FILES:
They are .fla files, which are used by Adobe Flash. They will NOT OPEN unless you are using a copy of Adobe Flash CS3 or later, and can only work on versions that can export Actionscript 2.0. I cannot supply you with a copy of Flash.
In other words, if you don't know what you're doing, the working files probably won't be of any interest to you.
WHAT'S NEXT:
I'm going to continue to work in Blender and continue to learn how to make quality animations. I've been posting quite a few of them over in the Patreon discord server, and am pondering the best way to upload them over on FA so that it doesn't look so abandoned.
And also... y'all will have something really interesting to look forwards to, hopefully soon. More on that to come!

It's awesome to see you reaching for new and greater heights!, I look forwards to your next endeavour, hopefully it's less frustrating and more rewarding than the Flash projects have been. No more awful broken tween frames!
