Thank you so much!! ^^ She's not my top priority, but I am starting to learn how to do one-shot comics (longer format). I'll add her to the list of ideas and maybe she'll be in one in the future!

MikeL

Love this any thoughts on doing a full sequence of her?

the shy pose and the blushing are so cute very adorable mantis insects are very underapreciated, and especially mantis with their very appealing body structure and huge eyes, even for insect relations, are one of my favorites.

Adorable! I love your drawing style

Are there any mammals that can regenerate limbs? I know some reptiles can, but even there it's not very common. It's a broader problem than even that, in that there's no reason to think that we can alter human physiology to grow human parts any more than non-human. As an example, it'd be nice to be able to replace lost teeth, as that's one of the parts of aging that can be quite damaging to the body as a whole while being completely permanent. I'll die with one chip each in my top two incisors and there's very little promise of any conceivable therapy being able to do anything about it. Our bodies are simply not designed to make new teeth if we lose the old ones (or our wisdom teeth would grow back, which would kinda suck, 'cause they'd need to be surgically extracted every ten years or something. Good times.) Same with a lot of connective tissue. Joint creak when we get old because tendons and cartilage are only rated for so much stress and repetitive flexing before they start fraying, and they don't regenerate. In any case, definitely this. Rewriting DNA is very much not the same as TF. DNA affects morphology mostly during growth phases. The rest of the time it's just very important chemistry.

Idk about mantises specifically, but in most insects, the reproductive organs are in the abdomen. I'm glad someone brought this up, cuz its a really important difference

Ahhh, interesting point!! I'll have to study up more on mantis/insect internals placement for when I do the TF study in depth ^^ First time doing this with a bug subject!! If you're interested in more of this TF, this piece is actually the intro image for this month's $10 tier reward, which is kind of like a 5 page mantis exploration, which will include some fullbody mantis TF images as well! WIP right now but will be out this month! So glad you like it :D !!

The Senate

Irl sure but we can dream at least Neat info tho, thanks! :D

For TF to be possible via CRISPR, it would need to transition through several engineered, non-existent organisms. Changing the genes only changes how the body heals, or produces new cells, so changing the genes directly from one animal to another would likely result in complete disintegration, or at best multiple organ failure. Growing new bones does not appear to be possible.

The Senate

The layout and workings of human and mantis organs and reproductive systems are probably vastly different and placed much differently, id imagine...I wonder how that'd work out in a more realistic way...esp if we look at it from a CRISPR perspective of changing genes and having your body slowly change over a long period...love those slow TFs, esp with mental stuff Great art as always! Wish I could see the lower body tf too
