I took a lot of inspiration from manga. Specifically, old shoujos that would incorporate screen-toning. So dear to my heart!
Borrowed @Dorksoul's character from the [Warmup suggestion list] for an art exploration and style test. I hope you like it!!

Aaa thanks Wolfizen! :D I love more expressive lines and want to do them more often - I feel the same way about other artists too. The vagueness adds to the intrigue in many cases... So glad to hear you feel the same!

That's a good question! I don't know how I'd approach that, but I think it would be neat to do some further studies into a manga cover page style at some point. Thanks for the idea :D

Wanna boop her snoot. And also give cuddles.

Cute wolf girl.

There's something about sketches and softer lines that make it so much easier to picture exactly what one wants to see. It's just vague enough that the tiny details can be filled in by whoever looks at it. I definitely like this style :)
Christopher Zammit
It’s an interesting style

Looking forward to seeing how you experiment with your styles- is the next step to see how this manga style looks with your typical colour palate?
